The 777 river racing lads testing in Queenstown NZ 🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿before shipping the boat USA 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 for the world Marathon river racing event. A shame it canned !!!
🤞🏻fingers crossed this COVID thing goes so we can race next year ✅✅ 2021 USA 👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸

You guys should be very very proud of what you have achieved! I've watched countless speed boats and you guys have it right! The Americans have absolutely nothing on you boys! You can't take those crazy drag boats up a river!

Cheers - been a huge project - built Queenstown NZ🇳🇿 - custom designed and built reduction gearbox 🇳🇿 - plenty of mods to turbine to suit application - 2500 hp gas turbine (only running 80%) -seen over 165mph - burns 8 litres of Jet A1 per minute (goes a long way in a minute) - boats currently in North America ready to race nexts years world event in USA

Regan Williamson NZ for me is always associated with brilliant engineering. Whether this, Britten, Hamilton wjet, jetsprinting etc etc. Guessing the jet is a Hamilton? Or custom too?

Ruaraidh Walker - there’s been some pretty cool stuff that has come out of NZ👍. Jet unit is custom also - it’s reverse rotation compared to standard jet units, based off a Hugh pressure unit (American Turbine)✅

probably JP-5 or JP-10. Basically kerosene.
