For a quick refresher, since you seemingly didn't rewatch the previous episodes before watching this, Mera isn't super weak due to a normal illness. Her epithet is Fragile, and unfortunately, it effects her too, making her, as a person, fragile. It's not just her bones either. There's a couple clues to how her epithet effects her well before the reveal, like her comment about having broken nails and a broken toe (as someone who super-stubbed her toe while running, but didn't break it, there's no way Mera could have broken her toe just by accidentally bumping up against the boxes without her epithet playing a role in that), or the intermission screen that said 80% of her diet is headache medicine (I can't speak for everyone, but I know that when I get a headache, an over-the-counter pain reliever is what I use, and if 80% of her diet is comprised of "headache medicine", it's probably something over-the-counter, and not a prescription, and I feel like something that targets headaches specifically wouldn't be over-the-counter, so "headache medicine" likely just means "pain reliever"). Crystal is technically a subcategory of glass. It's made the same way as regular glass, just with different materials. Crystal glass contains lead, and as a result is not safe to drink or eat from. It is stronger than regular glass, but, ya know, it is still *glass* at the end of the day, so being stronger compared to regular glass isn't much of an achievement. Crystal glassware is still generally considered more valuable than regular glass though due to it's ability to refract light (which normal glass typically lacks), making it prettier to look at. What is thoroughly fascinating about Epithet Erased is that a lot of the show has underlying word plays. Mera defines Glass Cannon. Able to do a lot of damage, at the cost of frailty.

The only reason I still see Mera as a villian. Is because like Molly said, she could use the amulet to remove her epithet if she really wanted to end the suffering. Or ask Molly nicely for her to treat her regularly. The fact that she stole Sylvie's epithet for no reason other than for power sake makes me feel that way. Dont get me wrong I love her and I'm sure redemption is a thing. But if it were me. I wouldn't be surprised if Mera betrays whoever tries to help her.

Answers about the Arsene Amulet! It's named after a storied French thief, and it's cat themed because the person who created it made it with the Copycat epithet... which implies there may be an epithet he copied into the amulet which has the ability to steal powers...

Fun lore fact, most wepons only do non lethal damage (including the guns) which is why everyone freaked out about the "real ass sword" aside from it being funny bc it can do "real slashing damage"

Once you've finished with Epithet Erased, I recommend you also watch Epithet Switched. It's a fan audio project based on a script someone wrote for a roleswap au. There's only one episode out at the moment, but the script covers all seven episodes so there's sure to be more

Honestly given what I know from the "anime campaign" that spawned Epithet Erased Giovani is the cool big brother role to Molly since he starts dating Molly's sister in the campaign, so if they go through with that in Epithet Erased then Molly gets a cool big brother and potential cool brother in law
