Well said, Steve and Riyed! First record album I ever bought was Aqualung (in quadraphonic!). Now I have a rather large Tullian collection. Saw taab 1 and 2 twice, two nights apart the summer of 2’s release. I had always been sad not to have seen taab bc I was “too young for rock concerts” when it was released. Kudos to IA for bringing back “1” and performing it in its entirety with the release of “2”! Kudos also for the energy and dedication IA always put into every performance, from an ever-grateful fan.

What a fantastic performance to get to see! I love seeing the communication between everyone on stage, and the way that the song wasn't changed, but morphed into a unique thing via the altered instrumentation. Meticulous, and simply gorgeous. Prime Tull!

Real shame about Ian losing his voice. It saddens me to see this happen to him. Great rendition nonetheless. My cousin turned me on to Jethro Tull 40 years ago. Ive been a huge fan ever since. Mother goose, Auqualung & Locomotive breath had me hooked.

There are effective herbal medicines that he could try. He plays the flute ok, so his lungs are fine. It's his voice cords that have weakened and need rejuvenating.

Good though his music is, let's not get carried away with left-wing indoctrination he has packaged into his music! There is a reason, a very big reason, that people are fedup with left-wing politics that had cornered the Western mind for decades. The media is changing as a result, now that people can express themselves on social media. Soon, we'll have a right-leaning second TV channel, and that can't be a bad thing to counteract decades on inccent left narrative!
