Whats up Fishing Fam! Today was the last day of the flounder fishery being open. it reopens December the 15th. I had a blast chasing them with friends. I was able to wrap this video up for yall just as it closes🤙

Back in the 80s we used to catch 30 inch flounder alot in galveston. Now we are crazy lucky to catch a 20 inch. Glad you hooked up to some with meat on them.

Yes I use to hear the stories it's why I said they can grow even bigger.. tpwd say 25 but I've seen bigger and talked to older fisherman.. yes I agree with you my biggest of the day was 22.

Yep, I'm doing good brother thanks for asking.. my truck has been in need of a pricy fix .. been saving to fix it. However, my grandfather just passed away as well. I have been helping my father while spending time with family due to this in my downtime. I will be back out this week, though

Heck yeah. Those big ones were all over the jetties the whole week before season close. Burried up to their eyeballs right up against the rocks. Got limit of 22”+ in 30 minutes. That front kinda muddied up the water second half of the week though.

@@southtexasfishingfam3436 Nice work. My jetty timing was off last month. Went after you posted your last jetty flounder vid and no one caught anything haha. I'll start hitting jetties again when sheepshead come in.
