Since the recession began, we have seen a surge in fake watches come through our store...but nothing like this! Another dealer was trying to sell two Rolex watches to us, but after Ms. CRM opened the packaged when they arrived, Charlie made a startling discovery.
We definitely did not expect another grey market dealer to try to scam us. Was it an honest mistake or deliberate? You be the judge when you watch episode 71 of CRM Life!
The watch market continues to correct, albeit at a slightly slower pace. Even though we're not popping the champagne bottles yet, we did start selling Patek Philippe watches again, which have taken a severe beating since the market started correcting in the start of the second quarter of this year. These were pretty big heavy hitters, the Patek Philippe 5990 and 5711 in rose gold.
Lots of people are calling us about consigning their watches. Even though we have never consigned a lot of watches in the past, we are starting to do it again given the current environment and greater market risk of holding high end pieces longer. After a long night of work and a few hours of sleep, I wake up, put on my CRM sweater (since it's Friday) and coffee in hand (in my CRM mug of course), I put on my weekly episode of CRM, a way like any other to commune with the angels of Paradise who are surely all riveted in front of their cosmic screen. What do i see within the first 5 minutes? Carlos who concludes a deal on the phone with Batman watching over him (my favorite painting synonymous with CRM since my first episodes). Then, the Angelic Natalie walks in, bringing with her the incandescent light of the Sun. We then folllow Carlos who parades like Charlie Chaplin to show us shorts straight out of a Salvador Dali canvas. Not over yet. We now witness Betty, our favorite Princess Leia, who is on the verge of shedding a tear because of a gift that only her emotional candor deserves. No shortage of beauty yet: Raysa, whose silent beauty served as a model for God to create the grandeur of Eve, is seen (or admired) on a motorcycle with her rebellious husband... and finally, a juicy deal involving a watch released straight from the furnaces of heavens, entertains us. Here are the first 5 minutes and I haven't even had my first drop of coffee yet! Let's stop wondering why CRM is what it is. Business, human warmth, hypnotizing beauties and emotion... all within a few glorious seconds. Folks, It's friday night! It's CRM time! And what a show! I can barely keep up! The various questions that embellish the video are definitely a plus. Whoever came up with that idea had a brilliant stroke of inspiration. The segment around the 33 minute mark, where Carlos gets his hair cut by Sandra, is one of the times I've laughed the most since I was stung by the CRM bee. The levity, familiarity and hilarity of the moment sums up what i'm sure many of us love about this unique family. I can't get enough of these sweet little family moments. And as for Dan, my ultimate leader, the one that no storm can bring down, his talk on the future of the company and how to diversify the offer is one of the MAJOR reasons why CRM will endure . Dan is the solution. Dan is the backbone of the business. Like the Batman canvas which represents the store well, Dan is the dark knight. The Watchful guardian. On another note, the segment on the watches that each of the gang appreciate was a gem! I had just suggested such a segment this week. Another person asking the same question is proof that we fans are all one big family. You hear Momma, Poppa is always right. That’s a good woman who knows her man. Though we are not always right, that support wow and the passion in which it was said. I do have that from my wife. Almost 22 years and it is like we just met yesterday to me. Love CRM and all the best to you.

I have a question for the boys. As someone who wants to get into the watch game, who is in the jewelry market (small time) what’s the best way to start? Consignment to build a virtual collection, or save up to buy small and work my way up? And are you guys hiring because I would pause my life to come sell watches for you guys day and night. You can keep my in the basement and feed me leftover baked shrimp and caviar 😂 you don’t even have to pay me just let me sell watches !

I enjoy your family and I wish I could have a family like yours but it didn’t work out for me. Just know there are people out here who are envious of what your family has in spades “Love for one another”. It took six heart attacks for me to learn some lessons in life. I love this Channel! I was down in Florida 3 hour drive from crm and I had to stop in to meet them and say hello. Glad I did. They weren’t recording when I was in but everything was running like they show on the KZfaq episodes. I talked to Charlie and Carlos like they knew me a lifetime. So happy to watch another great video from our whole family. Thanks for keeping us all entertained and always making us laugh and smile. My pop's had to go to hospital last week, he's so old school and so strong (my pop's) just kept saying "I'm fine, I'm okay". But, had to go because his heart was beating so low, slow. They had him wearing that hospital "Gear" , once he had enough he calmly got up and put on his street clothes and sat back down and said, "what, why do I have to be naked". Lol
