If you are really sure that you won't wear any of the silver pieces again simply because they aren't gold toned, you can try and get them gold plated. It won't be cheap but you can probably do one a season or even a year. :) That way they won't get bored in that box and it would be like getting new jewellery.

I love gold as well! I wish I had as many lovely pieces as you, I’m so jealous. My heart goes out to you about your mom. I lost my mom almost 7 years ago and I still find it so so hard. I miss her every single day, it never changes. I have a special amethyst ring I got in remembrance of her. Hope you are doing well ❤️

That was so helpful ! I'm really getting tired of buying cheap jewellery from H&M etc and I never know how to find more expensive brands that I would like ! Most of them seem too boujee for me at first glance haha and the websites can be a bit overwhelming, this allowed me to really look at some pieces individually. I'm obsessed with Missoma now ! ^^

Lovely collection, you can take your earrings to the gold smith and ask for a re-coating of gold . It’s not too expensive but makes “gold plated ” look new again

I work in a jewellers and the fan earrings that the plating has lifted on, you do have to be more careful with plated pieces. Is it possible you've sprayed perfume which has got onto them? I would chance sending them back anyway for a replacement because now there is corrosion there's nothing you can do. Any of your fashion jewellery (to be honest, also sterling silver and gold pieces as perfume can discolour them), always put on your jewellery last after applying perfume and allowing it to dry.

Aterling silver can't discolor or else it's not real silver, it will tarnish, same for real gold, it doesn't change color, bc their simply "precious metals" not just random coated plating chemicals, so your statement bout sterling silver is false.

If anyone knows where I can find earrings similar to the ASOS small gold fan (at 14:43), please do share because I've been wanting them for such a long time! The ASOS ones were sold out already when Alix first showed them on a video (like 1-2 years ago)! Yes, I still remember lol.

I think you need to send those fan earrings back to Missoma! I love their designs but my £139 necklace already has the gold rubbing off after less than a year. Honestly hoped for better considering the price.

xsk12 Me too! I had their earrings less than 3 weeks and they tarnished whereas my gold plated ones from ASOS haven’t done that and I’ve had them almost a year 🤷🏻♀️

Same happened to my Missoma earrings, they tarnished so badly after two months of wearing them. They don't really seem to be worth the price.
