"They say Allah hu Akbar" but they are christians. "Allah" is just an arabic word for the word "God" in english and Allah hu Akbar just means "God is great". Allah doesn't refer to any specific deity or a different God that belongs to only muslims. So people did know about God before Muhammad and they called him with different names in their own languages.

Its not a bad place because it purifies you and prepares you for rebirth.
