when you pull back the firing arm does the hop up immediately go out

If you slightly pull it back the flap will open but the hopup doesn’t become exposed unless the firing arm is fully pulled back

Hi,I have the same m16 mine is not shooting bb's and I dont know why can you help? (It is charged,has full magazine of colt plastic bb's)

Check the hop up, some/most guns come with the hop up completely down to zero so just turn it up
