I appreciate her so much. I watched an interview with her and now I understand why so many people feel so impacted on her. She studies sounds and purposely uses tempos and beats and sounds to trigger certain parts of the brain which gives us this amazing reaction. She is truly inspirational and i am forever grateful for this beautiful soul of hers.

Touched my soul even more I’ve been listening to Jhene for as long as I can remember and I know she’s very very spiritual as well. Her non mainstream music is pretty much for the soul if you listen to the lyrics & her music got me through a lot. I know Nipsey seemed like a spiritual genuine soul himself so this was just beyond beautiful. R.I.P. Nipsey 😩😭🙏

It’s amazing how beautiful a vocal can sound all subdued and just accompanied by simple instrumentation. Nipsey would have been so proud. She held herself together even though I’m sure she was torn up inside.
