The only reason they went through with Pope and Kie in season 2 was because they had them kiss in season 1 and they needed to show that the relationship wouldn’t work. John B and Kie weren’t even a thing. He kinda liked her but she wanted to stay friends. They kissed once and she rejected him. She was pissed about Sarah joining the group not out of jealousy (at least not mostly) but because she was still angry with Sarah for what she did to Kie in the past

I don’t like him as well like i said, he’s absolutely insane and yes he tried to kill jb several times and the pogues now when he burnt down the chateau. There’s no redemption for him (tbh i never believed in his "redemption" bc every time he was "nice" he was only doing it for Sarah so..) but what i’m calling out is Sarah’s behaviour towards Topper. She isn’t and never has made it clear she didn’t like him like that bc every time something goes wrong w her and JB, we’re going to see her crawling right back to Topper. This season she was all over him and being all like "i’m going to call you", "i’m going to stay w you", kissing him on the cheek, holding his hand. Like WTF, if you LOVE your bf so much why are you always crawling back to me every time ? She’s giving him mixed signals one day she’s in another day she’s out, ofc Topper is going to think he has a chance w her and try to get w her and even if he’s a piece of shit, we should still call Sarah out for the way she’s treating him bc she’s treating Topper like ABSOLUTE SHIT.

I am talking about the way Sarah treats Topper, even Madelyn Cline talked about it in a interview and how she thinks Sarah is wrong for doing that. And you can’t use the argument that Sarah is getting hate for making one mistakes but other characters aren’t bc you know that’s not true. The entire obx fandom loves Sarah (mostly bc she’s attractive) even if people have been disappointed w her decisions, i have seen so many people defending Sarah and being understanding w her. One character that has received a lot of hate and 0 type of understanding is Kiara. Kie was literally just confused w her feelings for Pope and yes she didn’t handle it perfectly but she still gave him a chance and people were shitting on her but Sarah gets a pass for whatever reason when Kiara didn’t ? When what she did is not on Sarah’s level. And the whole "the pogues are the ones who told Sarah to flirt w Topper, she didn’t want to" is absolute bs. The only thing, they asked her to do is to talk to Topper and to use him, not to cheat on their friend and even after the cheating continuing a thing w him. So it is 100% on her the pogues have NOTHING to do w Sarah’s cheating.

drew starkey (rafe) is definetly a better actor than john cena and the rock. he plays an unstable beloved villain to the best standards, whereas john cena and the rock are limited to more "macho" roles like action protagonists, they're still great actors in their criteria's, though.

@@Kene.M jiara's story line makes sense but it's not what people were expecting hence why some people didn't like it. they went about it the angsty route and mostly bc of jj's psychological state. i just feel like they rushed it a bit in the first few eps but later on i liked it. one thing i didn't like about this season was that all of them were split up, for me the best part of the show is when the pogues are all together.

Really I loved the season and I loved the jiara seen it from the beginning so it made perfect sense .

yeah tbh i kind of like cleo and pope as friends better, i like their dynamic but they feel like brother and sister to me. john b and sarah are so messy at this point that i don't even care about them as a couple. as for jj&kie i can see both perspectives. i understand ppl who wish they'd just remain friends but at the same time out of all the couples i like their chemistry the best . (hopefully the writers don't mess it up like they did john b and sarah)
