He is 💯 on this from my own personal experience. People should not play with kundalini. I had this happen spontaneously without knowing what it was. It became quite torturous for years following. Many years later the energy still moves at times. And in my mid 40s it threw me up and onto the ground knocking me out for a few seconds (witnessed). Coming to... the capacities, insights, and level of compassion was indescribable and lasted a couple weeks. BUT.... I was NOT at peace fully. Not awakened. But it was real as it gets. Seductive probably for many but dangerous. In another talk K mentions it and treated it as garbage. But ended by saying there is this infinite energy BUT it comes when "there is no self". For me this is true. At first it was Me experiencing the energy... then it took over to where there was ONLY this energy. No sense of Me. But I don't try to hold onto or reawaken etc. because of what K said. One must be ready and not desiring of anything. My 2 cents... great video ty.

You're damn right on the risks of trying to awaken it without a total purity of intention. I literally destroyed myself because I was able to experience it a lot of times but my mind played a very good trick on me to keep me trapped and this ruined my life probably forever.

Listening to this man everytime brings peace.Everytime he talks on a topic he just opens up it fully all dimensions of it being taken care of. I got a logic from him which i cannot get anywhere He is true man of logic who wants to make you your use of intelligence not brainwashing people with heavy talks which is not even in their experience

I think the idea that "good" yogis/gurus try to communicate about the powers are that although they seem incredible, they are still part of the illusion of this world... and that the goal should be to fully awaken from the illusion... primarily, the ego. So what most "good" enlightened teachers wish for their students is for them to be free of Maya, and thus they discourage playing with powers as the powers are still within the dream field of Maya.

About 25 years ago I had a spontaneous awakening of Kundalini. I was not trying to awaken it - it just happened after a deep realisation. Fortunately, I had no negative experiences, only the most profound bliss and love that lasted for several weeks. It is mostly dormant now apart from some occasional movement as Michael mentions.

Krishnamurti had a high degree of integrity although I do feel he was a bit timid at times. Better to err on the side of meekness though I suppose, as the greatest adepts have always exhibited. The nature of kundlalini and the opening of the third eye is not something that should be forced. People do harm to themselves and the collective in pursuit of "specialness or personal gain". And especially if one is dark. As Jesus said, "But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness." He was not speaking of the natural eye. Wisdom without compassion FOR ALL is not wisdom at all but witchcraft. So when the divine is awakened the fire is first to purify and burn off the dross within ONESELF. If one simply seeks arcane or occult knowledge this is not enough. Knowledge becomes wisdom when the ground is cleared, the earth is tilled and the roots can spread. Through meditation, stilling of the mind AND WHEN ALL SENSES are stilled and as ONE, with purity of intent and compassion and love for all, it will arise naturally when one is ready.

Can you explain me,i am so confused. Isnt the self realisation only way to go? The kundalini energy when you are self realised is Shakti, The Holy Spirit which is wholly spiritual. You don’t ever consider using it for anything other than Truth, Goodness and Love.

@Ed O'Brien I'm hearing about Kundalini just recently. Is it something beyond the absence of ego? For example one can experience the absence of ego during a psychedelic experience but not some unusually great energy of Kundalini.

@Ed O Thank you for the interesting explanation. My question is still about the differences of Kundalini state and psychedelic state. In my experience of high dose psychedelics (with a lot of spiritual background) was that I experienced that ultimate insight; I could see the whole history of mankind, past and future, all the suffering... The only difference that I see with your experience was that there I didn't have that feeling of power, even though I felt being god (as the one, when there's no separation) but from "insight" point of view.

@@oliverkalali Kundalini is the life force rolled up at the base of our spine. Through meditation, pranayama, accidents or spontaneously this life force can shoot up along the spine through the head. When you're not prepared for it, it can cause Kundalini syndrome. If all goes fine, the chakra's and Nadis in your body get activated and cleansed. It's a step in your spiritual evolution.

If it's an experience, it is something like you wake up you're sick, you wake up you have good mod, you wake up you feel something new. But don't take these things for kundalini. The energy of kundalini is not an experience. It is a state of not being where there is no experiencer or experience. I live since 10 years in this, Thanks to JK. Don't you people, never question this guy, he is the only legit on this subject. Spiritual conditioning destroys your brains. Impossible to go far if you're conditioned, which means deeply stupid. I have yet to be convinced that he is anything but a lightweight. Blavatsky and Besant both were jealous of Vivekananda, and put out pamphlets slandering him. There are numerous spiritual prodigies in India; like there are violin player prodigies in the West. It sounds like he never experienced kundalini, which is the essence of awakening. I was convinced by a kundalini instructor to do kundalini exercises and it destroyed my life. The kundalini caused all kinds of pain, side effects, loss of good sleep at night, tiredness during the day, anger, loss of memory, loss of ability to conversate, loss of friends, destruction of ALL my relationships, destruction of everything I am involved with.

Was half way stable for years but got much worse a couple of months ago when my friends forced me to try weed with peer pressure. The weed gummy bear ignited the already-activated kundalini even more. I got into even worse hell. I can’t sleep well at night and am very tired in the day time - so tired that my aura drains energy from others and nobody wants to be around me. My already-hampered conversational ability went to zero. I lost what little friends I had. I am in an even worse dream state. Can’t perform 1/4th as well as I used to at work.

Start eating meat only with high fat and do 24 hr fast 1-3 times a month. Body will heal and the mind will rest.
