You did good Jordan! Your machine the Excalibur is by far the best underwater machine I have ever used. I own 3 of the 1000 models and would not trade them for any other machine on the market. Our club here in East Tennessee hunts for lost rings both in and out of the water. If you ever come to our neck of the woods I would love to introduce you to our club members and especially to our own ring Master. His handle is Howdy Ring Master and he has recovered so many rings he filled a chain with them that reaches from his shoulder to the floor and back up. He is over 6' tall plus he has 2 smaller chains that serve as matching dangle earrings. He returns every ring he finds to the owner if they can be found plus he has given numerous wedding rings away to young couples who did not have the funds to purchase their own. Way to go dude. If all of the naysayers who don't want people to metal detect would watch these type of videos maybe they would realize we do good deeds along with hunt for history.

'what comes to mind so often when I watch these treasure retrieval videos is how much finding these items means to the finder against how little value the item has in the mind of the losers. I had a metal detector for a few years and had a lot of fun with it.

When searching you need to tie a large rope to the anchor, walk up current a meter then do an arc to the left with the taut rope, do the right. Then do another meter, that way you will cover 100% of the ground and not miss a spot...
