Man I can’t believe I’ve been here so long I love now watching things come full circle from Jildou being a tiny foal running alongside a very protective Sjirkje to being a beautiful adult and a mem. She’s also the exact opposite of Beppe S when it comes to Wytse still watchful and attentive however much more trusting and a heck of a lot more interested in both the camera and scratches from the humans.😄That’s what happens when the first interaction & experiences with 2 leggeds that a little one knows are full of loving kindness and affection. 🖤🖤

I burst out laughing when the first thing Jildou did when Yvonne released her, was walk directly to Oda. She's the first mare that I can recall (other than Reintje) who was very calm and careful with her foal in the arena. And Wytse was very good about staying with her, too.

I remember Jildou as a foal being nervous and anxious with new things. This is her first foal and I think it's her first time in the indoor arena with said foal, so of course she's really anxious. I believe in the previous video, Jildou and Wytse were with the herd (I'm guessing today's video was filmed earlier than yesterday's), so it's nice to know that Jildou relaxed a little. It's not her fault that she overthinks things.

Little Wytse has a phenomenal trot. He doesn't even seem to touch the ground. His tail carriage is exceptional too. He probably slept well after keeping up with his Mom's long legs in the arena. Great video Yvonne. ❤❤

Jildou was born in February, she hadn't been in the meadow before... and I think, the same goes for Sjirkje, while mem Jildou here is very relaxed and at ease. I love seeing them in the arena to take a close look! 😊

Little Jildou running alongside Sjirkje was one of the first Friesian Horses videos I watched. Now she's a mama herself! How time flies. Wytse's so well camouflaged I didn't realise for a few seconds that it was her nursing at the end. 😅

It's so funny that Sjirkje foals always seemed so independent and running off in the arenas like Jildou and Sanne and maybe even a young Frieda but Frieda and Jildou's foals seem to stay very very close to their mems 🥰 So i have to say I'm a little nervous because of the previous community post. I pray that all is well with Jildou and Wytse and everyone at Stal G and Stal H 🙏🏽❤️

I was chuckling reading your comment, Lisa! Isn't it beautiful to see Wytses trot? The two of them were quite at ease (filmed in July) in the arena, but Yvonne arranged the same setting as 4 years ago. (only the sound of the rain was missing 😂) I thought this was a sweet idea to show a cycle of life. 😊

I really liked seeing Wytse’s pedigree go so far back! That was fascinating! I also have to confess I had forgotten who Jildou’s mom was. I started watching Friesian horses the year Jildou was a foal. Sjirkje was one of my favorites, so enjoyed seeing a reference to her. She gave birth to some of my favorite foals.

🎯 It's a great video Shirley🤗 I loved his little feather duster tail. I saw a commercial from Etsy recently and thought of you. lol Didn't know they make leather bags to carry your wood in. The leather looked pretty. 🙂

@@marya4861 Hi! I answered you earlier, but my comment has disappeared. I have not seen the leather wood carriers. I have a plain old canvas sling which I am very happy to have. Or have been happy to have. This afternoon, my dog, Ronan the Barbarian chewed through the straps! I kid you not! While I was taking a break from toting wood, I neglected to put it up out of his reach. So much for toting wood when I went back out. He is in the middle of his "terrible twos". I'm holding my breath to see if he becomes more civilized as he grows up.😥 Luckily, he can also be adorable.🤤

Dear Yvonne, what a sweet video. Jildou all grown up with her first baby Wyste. Wyste looked gorgeous, and almost floating as he trotted beside his mem. He's going to be a beautiful stallion. 🖤❤️🖤❤️

Jildou is a magnificent beauty, always has been, and now as a new mother she is truly something special. 😊 she was a sweet and spirited youngen. Such a lovely horse. I do so enjoy watching her

I was impressed by Jildow's growth, and also moved by the love and efforts of everyone who supported it. 🐴✨🧑🌾💐 Wytse is shy and cute, but I was surprised to see her walking to the rhythm of her mother. I guess she will gradually become more magnificent and start running around in the meadows. I'm looking forward to it. By the way, why is a foal's tail so cute?💘 When Jildow first went to see Mrs. Oda, Jildow seemed to be greeting her and us from behind the camera. I'm happy.📸💓🤗
