Could the running sweaty man in a suit be a decoy. Part of the plot, but someone else did the killing. It was planned so that if the sweaty man was stopped by anyone at the time, he would show he had no weapons, and as he hadn’t done it, then nothing would add up. He would tell the police he was running to the station to catch a train, and he’d show the ticket to prove it. All the time knowing he was going to put the ticket through the machine, then turn round and walk out the station without catching the train. The plan being that this would detract from the real assassin. He made sure he was seen by many people, by running in front of traffic, to stop the police from looking elsewhere.
