Күн бұрынIn this MINDGAMES episode, we're joined by NYU student, vice presidential daughter, and my good friend: Jillian Robredo. I've only known Jill for a short time but I've felt a kinship with her from the very first time we met so I knew I wanted her to be a guest on my podcast and introduce her to all of you as well.
In our conversation, we talked about our experiences growing up under similar family dynamics and how we handled the inevitable comparisons between us and our older sisters. We also bonded about our excursions abroad and how those trips helped us find our independence. Of course, we also discussed how we take care of our mental wellbeing and how we handle the pressure of being 20-something-year-olds with famous last names.

Oh Jillian, I want to give you a big hug right now. Many of us don’t realize the emotional and psychological cost to you and your siblings resulting from your Mama’s political career. Thank you for your sacrifice and for generously giving of not just yourself and your time but releasing your mother in service of the country. You are a beautiful, wise-beyond-your-years and gracious young woman with a very bright future. God bless you and your family. 💖🙏😍

Laliman mo ang reasoning mo ng konti, alam kong uso sa inyo ang sabaw magisip, pero paminsan maging sensible din kayo hahaha. Andami nyong kuda sa Marcoses. Kung totoong guilty sila, eh bakit wala sa kanila nakulong kahit isa? Dahil pa paninira lang at black propaganda ang lahat? Nakapagsible pa nga sila sa gobyerno at tao until now diba? Sa dami ng ibinato nyo at ng mga kampon mo sa Marcoses, itong nagiisang tanong na to hindi nyo masagot ng derecho. BAKIT WALA PA DIN SA KANILA ANG NAKAKULONG? Alam mong masarap kausap itong si Jill. Parang madalas mo siyang nakikitang nakangiti palagi and nakatawa. That literally will just brighten up everyone’s day ganda pa ng ngiti. The more I look at Jill the more I find her pretty. Lahat talaga silang magkakapatid magaganda eh.

Ganito yung dream kong ma-witness para sa future kid(s) ko: may options to do and explore things by themselves and grab opportunities whenever they can.. Both of them seem to be aware of their privileges and that's a good sign they were raised well. I know this is just a chunk of their lives, pero sarap makanood ng ganitong usapan amongst younger people like Jill and Claudia. I feel like a proud ate lol

Wow, you can see how intelligent Jillian is and very humble. Can you imagine how down to earth this young lady was, full scholarship in the USA. Super smart, good job Mrs Robredo for raising your kids even you as a single parent. The county is good hands if Leni wins the presidency.

Very insightful! Also want to acknowledge Claudia for being a good host. It was mentioned in a vlog that she has a background in psychology and as a psychologist-in-training, I must say she did great in this podcast. I could really see her as a psychologist if she so decides to become one in the future!

I love listening to this podcast. The previous day i listened to Clau's mindgames vlog with Leon, closing the gap between siblings as one of the focus of their convos really caught me. Believe me,i applied what I've learned and the outcome was sooo good. Yesterday, I conversed with my youngest bro about his favorite topics i know would work and the gap was broken. We found ourselves laughing. I observed he has a lot to share things with me and i saw how he was so thirsty of my attention as the big sister. This podcast is really relationship-saving. You have your own space and your mom served well like your dad did. But heads up coz they serve from the heart. I studied Kinder in Naga but grew up in Nabua then Bula til G3, i always look forward to seeing Belen in Naga. Happy moments during Christmas. BTW i'm 38 na ☺️ So many good stories to share everytime i am in Naga. Hope everyone can visit and spend a hundred to live by a day.
