In this episode of MINDGAMES: The Podcast, we are so pleased to have my youngest sister, Erich. In this, we briefly go over some basic concepts about mental well-being, as well as MINDGAMES as a whole in a way that even kids can start to understand and get acquainted with the concept. Hoping to use this video, in any capacity, to help introduce the discussion to younger members of our community and slowly remove the idea of talking about Mental Health from the list of the taboo.
MINDGAMES is currently an online based campaign initiated by myself, in partnership with #MentalHealthPH, that focuses on utilizing various forms of art and media to promote awareness and inclusivity among Filipino Youth on Mental Illness. Through our content such as music, podcasts, and Sound Bites, we hope to promote mental wellness in pursuit of a sound mind.

Claudia, I think you could be a good psychologist someday (I've red that you're taking psychology) because you're a good conversionalist, you listen to others, you're very gentle with the way you talk and I think you're someone who has a deep understanding of what a mental health is (I mean ofcourse if it's not the path you don't want to take it's okay but if it is, I think you will help alot of people)

The way you level and speak with Erich is so admirable. It’s in a manner that is very appropriate for her age in spite being the “bunso”, a good balance of showing her that she’s still a baby in your eyes, but also capable of being treated maturely. Also, you’re very good at affirming her and supplementing what she has said previously so that she can share more about the topic. This was really nice! I totally understand why she speaks ahead of her years. You guys did a great job of raising her. 😊

True! This child will grow up being confident to herself as people around her don't treat her as a 'baby' too much like yes, they adjust their wordings base on her age but they talk to her maturely too by giving importance to what she is saying and not treat her as if 'bata ka lang'

Yeah, I I was suprised. At her age nakaramdam na xa ng stress... And I asked my daughter if how she is right now, most specially during this pandemic. And she said, she's so bored. She almost lost ideas kung ano yung icocontent nia sa tiktok videos nia. She's stress kasi hindi na sya nakakalabas ng bahay, wala ng pasok sa school, it feels like nakakulong lang sya sa bahay for almost 2 months. Unlike every summer, nagbabakasyon sya sa kapatid ko and sometimes ineenroll sya sa ballet class...

Been a fan of the barretos beauties from gretchen claudine down to Juliax but when I first saw claudia i was intimidated by her personality shes not only very pretty but exudes confidence plus so eloquent and witty and now here comes Erich at such a young age she can now converse with full good English with sense...indeed Marjorie raised them so well....

I love how the way Claudia talks, not just in this video but also in real life. and I think, of course what you speak in the videos, manifests to who you really are (in some ways). I really admire u Claudia for having this kind of vlog about the mental health. It really helps a lot to many of us specially those who having a mentally emotional problem. About My Mental Health Sobrang salamat sa pagbuild ng channel na to. It is very hard for me to admit that I have a mental health crisis right now because I feel like people around me will not understand but I know that there's something really going on with me but I don't have someone who can help me with this problem. Im having anxiety all the time, over thinking all the time and Im struggling dealing with my anger management issues. I was thinking of seeking for a professional help a long time ago because at times I feel like I couldn't handle it anymore but the thing is I don't know how and where to start. I know that I need someone to help me understand my condition but I don't know how to start seeking for a psychologist. I know it's a lot to ask you but I hope you could be of help. I also hope that you could talk about Anger Management in your Mindgames channel.

"What makes you happy what makes you sad?" This is a simple question but the fact that you asked her this makes my heart melt. I think kids are MANY TIMES overlooked because they're not treated as an individual esp. when they're still young like her. So they don't develop their emotional intelligence. Also, adults tend to tell children "You should feel this and that way" when certain things happen. Or "YOU SHOULDN'T feel that way..." (I mean even from the older people to young adults this happens). So I just really wanna emphasize again how blessed Erich is to have such people around her like you (and your household) to treat her as such. Little things like this go a long way and will save her from many emotional troubles in the future (eg. having too much of a hard time figuring out why she feels this & that way, feeling guilty for why she feels a certain way when she "shouldn't" etc.) 💕
