Yeah, that one girl who kept commenting loudly was really obnoxious. But then again, when you have a room full of nerds you're bound to get at least a few awkward or socially oblivious ones in there.

Jim butcher may not be the best writer but he is my favorite writer. I thought storm front was good not great. One of the things I like about reading the Dresden files is how jim butcher's writing improves with every book. I love the Dresden files and jim is still young. I cant wait to see how much he continues to improve.

Of course Jim was looking forward to Good Omens, we know he follows the Tao of Pratchett! I'd love to hear his thoughts on the book, the tv show and the radio program for it. Felloe readers, can you believe our unfathomable luck that Pratchett and Gaiman stayed up late after a con and plotted out what they wanted to do for a sequel? We are so blessed

I love Codex Alera. I actually read that before Dresden. It was up to Princeps’ Fury at the time.

What is the 3rd author Jim is talking about? He mentions Larry (correia) and then David (?) and says something about a manticore. Who is this david who has a manticore? If he is having dinner with Jim and Larry I want to read his books.

@Emanueli Ratliff " at least with how the ship combat works." The bizarre ship functioning in Honorverse is to allow Weber to use naval tactics of the Napoleonic war era. No three dimensional tactics for that era and mostly broadsides. You can see a fairly a satirical demonstration of how silly that is, fun but still silly, in Charles Stross' Singularity Sky.

@@jimbutcher5712 Tell me about it, I freaked out when I noticed that the hair growing out at my chin had gone lily white. Anyway, I'm happy that Peace Talks will be out in the now nearer future and I am looking forward to The Olympian Affair. And also to the Maggie books somewhen in the future... maybe Marcone had a secret kid who can also be at that school? ;)
