So not only does everything Changes, but soon the Batllegrounds will be joined. Beware Harry's lack of memory when he is so overworked he has to shorten his journal titles to a single word. By the way It's nice to know you have made it to Harry Dresden the human cannonball. Also from what he hinted at in this interview it sounds like we will be seeing a reappearance of Goodman Gray in future books, probably one of the best new characters he has introduced, other than a certain dog owner and his dog Spot.

Have YOU been spoiled? :) I'm starting to watch the video now, and I can't imagine not knowing the major shifts that start at book 11 and echo onwards and trying to talk about the series. So much stuff changes after, well, Changes (book 12), it's almost like an entirely new series from that point forward (almost). So I'm curious to see how you navigate this conversation, without being aware of the drastic developments that already occurred in the main story.

And credit to Jim for acknowledging that, after he followed the method he hated, he got a book out of it. He could have easily just pretended that had been his plan all along. "It makes me look like I'm smart, but really I'm not."

53:30 - Yes, Jim - we were waiting for a long time. But honestly, my biggest concern was that you'd just gotten tired of Dresden. I hope that's not offensive - someone might say that "For a professional it shouldn't matter." But professional or not, a person is always going to produce more greatness when they're inspired than when they're not. That's just human nature. I'm nothing like you; my specialty is in digital circuit design. But it still involves "gray matter creativity," and when the "magic" isn't there, it's just not there. But here the new books are (BOOKS ARE - not BOOK IS), and all is redeemed. You just can't tell everyone everything that's going on, so we will worry, because we're eager to follow this story to the end. Honestly, everything you've orchestrated over the last few weeks is just 100% spot on - the train is on the tracks and is sailing on for the next destination. You are the best writer I've ever read - bar none. Here's to you - good luck during these difficult times, take care of yourself and your family, and we will be here when you bring us new stuff. Thanks for the fictional ride of my life.

When you read _Fool Moon_, please be aware that this is the absolute worst book in the series. Jim was still learning his craft, and overused his expository device (Bob the Skull). That whole interaction was too hard to swallow... a Wizard has to be taught about werewolves? And it turns out that there was a whole pack of werewolves operating in his town and he didn't know it? Other than that, the novel seemed a bit too over the top. Plow through it, and know that every book in the series is BETTER than that one. And... watch for loose ends. They will come up later in the series.
