Jim was fantastic as the Riddler- I thought he hit a home run in just about every scene.

Knowing how much Tommy Lee hated Jim, it's funny seeing Jim trying to say something nice about Tommy Lee...

@kapishjosh4576 I totally agree. But it's just how it is, Jim tried to be generous to Tommy but Tommy just doesn't like him, he's just one of the actors whose ego is bigger than their hearts

Jim Carrey was the only reason I loved Batman Forever. Riddle me this riddle me that. Jim comes across painfully shy. Even up today he comes across as a reserved guy. God we must save this man at all costs

Jim just has a knack for playing iconic villains...he's been The Riddler, he's been Ebeneezer Scrooge, he's been The Grinch and recently he was Robotnik.

@@umbrellaunderdog Yeah I have seen him in Once Bitten and even though he wasn't a villain in that (specifically he is someone who gets turned into a vampire) but Cable Guy comes to mind too because he plays sort of a psycho but a lonely one.

I know Robin Williams was considered for Riddler when Tim Burton was going to direct Batman Forever, but I think Jim Carrey could still work in Tim Burton's version. As we’ve seen in Cable Guy and some of Carrey’s later work, he can clearly play dark, twisted demented characters, much like Williams.

For me, I think his performance as Stanley Ipkiss would work better as Riddler as a naturally awkward man until he wears the suit is where he's more intense and crazy.

Yea and like how Joaquin Phoenix had his own solo Joker movie. There could be a few ways it could go down. I think he would have been perfect doing a serious movie version like the Phoenix one, because Jim’s more serious roles he has had are awesome. Dude is a great actor. OR they would have him as a cheesy Joker like how he was the Riddler, in “those” styles of Batman movies, but even when saying cheesy… not really because Jim would be able to make it awesome no matter what even if it were to be more of a stupid good version hahaha. OR have a little of both, have it darker still like a Dark Knight Rises Heath type Joker with a mix of Nicholson. So almost a little mix of both serious nut bag Joker but still with a twist of clown’n no pun. At Jim’s age now though he would be awesome as an older Joker who has been there and done it all already. Have an older Batman and have it just be 1 badass stand alone movie of Batman fighting Joker for the final time. No more Arkym no more anything this is it ha! Think about it, that would be cool and even with technology now they could make Jim Carrey look younger having scenes of showing like all the decades he’s gone through as the Joker reeking havoc and even show him in court and Arkym etc… etc… Then back to current age Jim as Joker and he has one final badass bout with the Batman and destroying Gotham. Like imagine a Nolan Style Batman which is still dark but with the additional darkness of Phoenix’s Joker. Dude should have done something with the Joker character in one way or another, such a shame we never got that haha. Does any of that even make sense to anyone? I pretty much went all over the place haha, though I’m sure you all get my nerdy excitement ha! Yea I heard that also that he was retiring but, I also heard him say if a cool enough opportunity for a character role came across his plate, then he would be interested. Imagine him as a nut job Joker just doing crazy shxt all over Gotham and laughing all crazy like he does in movies like Liar Liar after he yells SLLLLLLUUUUT!!!!😆😆😆 Well actually he does shxt like that in every damn movie he’s in just about haha. Like a glove he he he he hep! 😆 Though I could see him doing an incredible creepy gnarly ass laugh also ha. JIM 4 JOKER! I wish the DC fans would light up with messages on DC social media sites etc…, social media demanding someone have Jim do something as the Joker ha! I bet you he would jump on it in a heartbeat!Willem Dafoe would make a great Joker also like we’ve seen on KZfaq, but I would want a movie with Carrey as Joker before anyone else. Damn I wrote a friggn book! 🤘🤡🤪🦇🤘

I always enjoyed Jim Carrey as the riddler as well as he did in the mask ,also in this interview he kinda reminds me of Cletus Cassidy aka carnage if he only he played carnage when he was younger instead of Woody harrelson not say he's bad ,but wasn't given a chance to do what he wanted.

I got a better version of the movie that makes it almost as dark as Tim Burton's films While waiting around for a what if director's cut for this film. I have the fan edit version that's as close to Joel's vision as possible. It's called "Batman Forever- Red Book Edition" Brief Synopsis (from the fan themselves): Batman Forever is a great movie, but there are things in it that definitely ruin the experience. Tim Burton’s absence wasn’t the problem. Intention: Imagine seeing Bruce suffering from sadness, guilt and loads of other psychological problems. Then he turns around and shows us his ass. It just doesn’t work for me. Two face was another problem; he’s supposed to be brain damaged not retarded. Why is he acting like the joker? I also muted the colors to the point where some scenes look black and white with color mixed in. As for Chase and Bruce. Their relationship is pointless and they both know this deep down. The new ending emphasizes this. The action sequences were also a little hokey so I recut those as well. I didn’t try to make this into a Tim Burton film by adding Elfman’s scores from the 1st two films. Instead I kept Goldenthal’s score and added some more of his work. The new music is taken from Final Fantasy: TSW and Alien 3. I didn’t have much of a problem with the Riddler. Jim Carrey is a comedic god. Other Sources: The new music is taken from Final Fantasy: TSW and Alien 3. email me for the movie to download/watch it: onyxrebel2@gmail.com I took the liberty to add "Kiss from the rose" by Seal full music vid after the ending credits.

For me Jim Carrey is one of the only reasons I continue to watch Batman Forever. He is fabulous and phenomenal as the Riddler. Also Chris O Donnell as Robin, Drew Barrymore as Sugar, Michael Gough as Alfred Pennywise, Debi Mazar as Spice etc. His Edward Nygma is as geniusly brilliantly as Frank Gorshin in the original television series. Wow, does he ever look handsome in this interview, that smile, those eyes and that laugh. His speaking voice is so nice to listen to. Adore what him and Bobbie are wearing. 😍😘🥰🙌🏻👏🏻💚🖤🫶🏻🤩🌟✨🥵🤤🎥🎭🎞️📸💎👑⚜️ ❔ 😆🧠🦹
