Host was struggling a bit. I prob would too if I had the chance to interview him. - no eye contact - fumbling through his scribble pad - fidgeting with his hair (it looks good man) Still cooler than me though since he’s the one on the stage 😊

The thing with the new yorker festival is that the interviewers aren't exactly interviewers, they're NY employees who sorta dabble in the same area of the celebrity. In this case, as Jim Carrey is doing cartoons lately, they chose a cartoonist. Still, i was there and have to say the whole hour and a half was like that, which made Jim have to carry the interview completely.

Maybe Jim Carrey will do another movie someday. He just finished shooting "Sonic: The Hedgehog". There are two movies that he'll doing eventually that is under pre-production, "Aleister Arcane' and Mr. Toy". "Kidding " been picked up for a second season.

The James Dean impression clip is case in point why they wanted him to play Kaufman. And he did as well as anybody could do trying to play Kaufman, if you've not seen it Man on the Moon is great. Anyway, the way he turns around, flips his collar up and starts combing his hair with his fingers, then he relaxes his hips in this almost Elvis pose. It's note for note the same sort of thing Kaufman was doing on Carson a while before Jim Carrey did.

Jim Carrey is a great actor and entertainer but when you start picking on our president it is completely understand if called for. People used to respect each other's political views and now everyone is at eachothers throats being down right sis respectful he's our president not our enemy. If he was making fun of Obama it would be considered racist and would be getting in trouble, bit this is ok because it's Trump and you don't agree with how he does things. That's fine if you don't agree, but why be rude and disrespectful when you can keep it to yourself. I personally like Trump and watching a great actor i like for his entertainment bust on our president is down right dumb. Entertainment is why we are here not politics
