Reports came out that TK has been pissed with Jack Perry over the whole Punk fiasco....that tells me that TK figured out he backed the wrong horse in the race. And how has Punk been irrelevant since he was injured? He had the interview and he has been on WWE tv more than a few times since then, including Wrestlemania weekend. WWE has utilized an injured Punk better than AEW did. Hell....AEW didn't talk to Punk for 6 months! Dude....Punk is not losing any spot in WWE. HHH knows what Punk brings to the table, Punk's not losing anything. He's post surgery and he is already in a feud with Drew McIntyre. If you think Punk doesn't respect Punk and vice versa, I have news for you. EVERYTHING that has come out as of late has shown that Punk's return to WWE has been a positive one...he has mended fences where they could be mended.....but beyond that, the guys who probably legit hate Punk and vice versa.....they are still working together, because they are all professionals. Same cannot be said for dudes like Hangman Page and the Bucks. And yeah....you can't get rid of Punk because he draws ratings, merch and ticket sales.

The fact that they cant get past punk is incredible. When Punk was fired, it looked that was it. The AEW faithful felt vindacted after months of turning on him. Her look is so amazing even passable ring work would be enough to make her a superstar. Because he says he's always honest and has been proven to be just that. I think just about everyone had the same reaction to this footage. After all the talk about Tony fearing for his life, jobs being lost, people being fired, all the drama that followed and the reality ultimately comes down to "That was it?". I've seen harsher fights in my five year old daughter's dance classes. Sure, on one hand, Punk is the one that got physical first. On the other hand, like Cornette says, "this ain't ballet". This is how men often resolve issues amongst ourselves. Someone gets mouthy, fits get thrown, and you either shake hands and get over it at the end or you don't. Jericho fighting Goldberg backstage, Bret Hart knocking out Vince, Joey Styles knocking out JBL, etc. And this is what all the hype boiled down to? Punk shoving Jack and putting him in a front headlock for a few seconds? What's really funny is this footage vindicates Punk. Everything he said in the MMA interview is exactly how things really transpired. The fact that Tony and the Balding Bucks thought this would vindicate them and just aired this footage to pop a rating are both truly sad and pathetic.

Tony should have just released the footage on KZfaq or something. Airing it live on TV has to be the most desperate, pathetic thing a wrestling program has ever done. The only thing I can think of is that Tony is releasing the footage because it paints a different picture than the one than Punk did in that interview; to make Punk out to be a liar. 1. Punk was left to make it to Wembley on his own. 2. Punk was insulted on live PPV by Perry. 3. Tony refused to address the Perry live PPV disrespect. 4. Perry hasn’t been back on AEW tv. Whatever Punk did was justified. If they edit this thing down, they look foolish. After this Tony, release Punk from his NDA.

Now that Punk is gone, was Colt on the last AEW PPV card? Every child has a boogeyman in life.😂😂 Are the ratings higher without Phil Brooks? No. Are they selling tickets?
