Some people say it didn't make sense because The Rock beat him but Rock got Lucky with that People's Elbow in their first match and in their second match The Rock Rock Bottom'd him right after he got distracted by Heyman instead of waiting a bit and letting Punk re-focus. Because he knew he got Lucky that first time and wouldn't get lucky again so he had to cheat to beat him again.. Rock knows in a fair fight he'd lose to Punk 9 times out of 10

I sensed during the Pandemic that Drew had potential to be more on the mic. Since he started feuding with Punk, something happened to him and his mic skills kicked into a different gear. He’s operating on a higher level than even when he beat Brock for the title 4 years ago. Part of me thinks it’s osmosis; the greatness of Punk forcing other to keep up or step up their game. Or maybe it’s the new creative direction that has helped unshackle Drew and reveal this awesome new version of him. Or both. Either way, this Drew McIntyre is money.

2:52 No, Brian. The Rock didn’t trigger the pipebomb. What triggered it was June 27,2011, Punk’s contract was set to expire at Money in the Bank, the same PPV where he was set to get his first WWE Championship match against John Cena. Punk used that as his opportunity to speak out against a lot of things that bothered him (and other fans). The Rock was mentioned, but he wasn’t exactly the trigger.

That’s the key. 😊 Just add a dash of spice to the promo, but not too much spice. He gave us an “OH SH*T!” moment and then brought it back to the business at hand. And it let Drew recover enough to keep the promo running smoothly. Masterful. 👨‍🍳

Then, had to pay him for his silence and while, TK says he fired him, " for cause"...I'm sure there's a 7 figure NDA/ remainder of the contract being bought out (as this was filmed and according to UK laws can be released). He's also bringing out the best in folks like Drew and Seth (character promo wise) The Young Bucks are this generations Hall and Nash in terms of killing a promotion that had (and still does have) promise

What careers? Please itemize. Yes, Hall and Nash reinvigorated a stale/dying promotion and helped get over guaranteed k''s. That's just about it. The NWO is/was a Japan rip off , but just the fact you're trolling my comment, means you didn't live thru it, research it and are relying on internet hearsay that you want to accept as gospel because its the only belief you've known and held it so long, that you're brain is washed to the point that you actually cannot even fathom not believing what you wrote. They were many reasons WCW failed, but Nash and Hall's attitude and treatment of the business is one of those reasons. Where do you think Jericho learned the "slip on a banana peel" finish ?
