While I don't mind the Buck's matches in small doses, I'll be annoyed if they win too (it was bad enough when they won the AEW tag titles from FTR due to a mix of their reign only lasting 2 months and one of the Bucks supposedly having a major leg injury at the time).

@@tempestfennac9687 Iam a big Fan of the Bucks, but i also dont wanne see their style in every match, but that goes for every style, i enjoy a good mix the most. But i also agree that it would be stupid if the Bucks take the RoH and AAA Titles from FTR, but iam 99% sure that this will not happen.

@@tempestfennac9687 The match on wednesday is for the RoH and the AAA Titles. So either FTR goes over clean. Or the Bucks cheat even harder to beat FTR and focus on RoH and AAA for a while and it would push FTR even harder as faces and FTR would then go fir the AEW Tag Titles. And maybe we get rematch for all 3 Titles at once at the next PPV, which FTR should win. Or who knows, maybe the Briscoes cost FTR the match, we will see. But iam more leaning to FTR getting the win.

@@shaolin1derpalm Fair enough. I agree with you; you can propose on any other day, leave a bride's wedding reception to her. I do have one funny wedding reception speech story though. I was tending bar for a wedding where the couple looked like Barbie and Ken had come to life. They were both tall, tanned, blonde, fit and attractive. Really disgusting how they both hit the genetic Pick 6 Lottery like that. Well, as the reception wore on and after the dinner and the cake and all of the toasts had been made, "Ken" decides to tell everyone where they were going for their honeymoon. It seems that "Barbie" left that up to "Ken", presumably as a test. And boy did "Ken" screw the pooch. Now, this wedding was in the height of summer in the southern Midwest/upper South (not too terribly far from Corny's Castle, tbh). So, I guess that played into "Ken" thinking that spending a couple of weeks, starting the very next morning, in British Columbia would be a splendid idea. "Ken" certainly thought so, as he stood there, half-drunk, beaming with pride as he was telling the entire reception, and some workers, of this. While I am assuming this couple did eventually have sex as husband and wife, I am almost 100% certain it didn't happen that night. I could almost hear "Barbie's" pussy drying up as soon as she found out where they were going. I'm assuming she wanted to go to the Caribbean. I do know that she did not want to go to western Canada. She was visibly pissed. I'm also assuming that was the last choice he got to make on his own for as long as they were married. It's been almost 30 years and I still laugh thinking about it. Good times.

I ordered the PPV at the last minute simply because of the FTR/Briscoes match. I also assumed Tony Khan, since taking over, wasn’t gonna oversee this PPV without putting some money into a surprise or 2 for the crowd pop. It was a decent PPV overall. Hopefully Jay Lethal can be featured as one of the top heels and FTR can be ROH’s top tag team. The Gates of Agony seems like a young tag team with a lot of potential. They got the big samoan look and Tully Blanchard doesn’t seem out of place with them. GOA vs FTR would be an interesting feud built around Tully’s revenge.

I have to say, I have agreed with Jim’s portrayal of the Bucks, but this was the night that it was on full display. They looked so much like they didn’t belong, more than they ever have. I just always imagine that casual fan who decided to give wrestling one more try after giving it up for a while, and this is the first time they’ve seen any of these people. The ONLY possible response to seeing the Bucks here is, “Who are these children?”

It was my first time seeing them in person, and good God are they small. They're talented, even if they feel kinda stale and over hyped. But I was in the second row and they were like right in front of me at what point, such tiny men they are. FTR aren't tall either, but they still look like they could kick your ass

i think they ran this one early possibly due to other shows/appearances that night. im not sure if either team was at them though. it also could've been a slight courtesy to the fans so they could still make some of those other events. regardless it was still surprising to see it so early. especially since they were the guys on the event shirt.

This entire ppv was really good. Loads of wrestling, no silly stuff. It was interesting to see some wrestlers I’ve only seen do jobs on Dark do some really quality matches. This tag team match was certainly the highlight. I appreciate that crowd. I’m not as hardcore against the comedy in AEW as Jim is but I’d love to see more of this bleed onto the AEW shows. I just wish Jim could get past the heel/face thing. It’s not like it used to be.

It was a great match, but there were things Jim normally complains about if it was anybody else. There were back slap tags. There were blind tags that shouldn't have counted. A really egregious one where Wheeler tags in with the ref's back turned. Ref turns around and is just like OK, I guess you're the legal guy now. And I don't think the ref ever counted when all four were on the outside. Jim said he did, but I must've missed it. Still a great match though.

This Tony Khan purchase of ROH gives me Vince McMahon WCW purchase vibes. Wheeler Yuta defeating Josh Woods for the ROH Pure Championship? Really? Yuta is a terrific talent but having him go over Josh Woods was so WWE typical. What's next? Christian Cage, Brian Cage, Miro, Ricky Starks or Hook defeating Jonathan Gresham for the ROH World Championship? If the legacy and the current state of ROH wil be used this way then ROH would have been purchased by New Japan Pro Wrestling or Impact Wrestling. It looks like the Briscoes will be doing fine in the National Wrestling Alliance as they recently won the 2022 Crockett Cup.
