Tbh almost all of my anointed favourites have either flopped or been passed over for others though. I remember when Danielson and Moxley first started the “BCC”, they said their purpose was to bring up young guys and show them the proper way to become “top stars”. They quickly brought in Wheeler Yuta, who was featured heavily for a few months then completely disappeared, and never added anyone else with the exception of Claudio. The group failed miserably at their stated goal and just devolved into a directionless stable of loosely connected wrestler who seem to have no purpose in being together. The BCC is a perfect microcosm of AEW as a whole.

As a person who still watches AEW daily BCC had already lost their whole plot...they are mixture of babyface and heel group which makes zero sense, Yuta is injured yet he is still champion looks like Tiny Khan forgot about the championship and Yuta. BCC are Faction but they are all doing their own stuffs which makes the Faction pointless by now it should have been dissolved and disbanded. Tony Khan has lost a lot of plots in last two years.

Jim Cornette literally GIFTED Hook an idea for a better/legit/actual angle than the entire fiasco that has been his 4 year run NEVER GETTING MORE OVER than a babyface rookie with potential. Literally. He hasn't won/had any major feuds like Cena/JBL to transfer to main event status after FOUR YEARS in AEW. Jim Cornette in 3 minutes laid out an angle for Danielson to accomplish his BCC dreams effectively with Hook. Bring Hook in for Bryan's last few months before retirement to "pass the torch". I hope Hook has a long talk with Head Booker Tony Khan after hearing this video.

I got curious and looked at ticket prices tomorrow for Dynamite in Bakersfield, California. They’re not even selling the top sections of the arena and there’s only 4 of the lower sections open (everything else is floor seating). I said fuck it and bought a lower section ticket in row A for $33 after taxes and fees. I don’t know why I’m doing this to myself but I’ll report back on Thursday with my observations 😂

@@Venemofthe888 depends on what you mean by "better off". Financially speaking he'll probably never find someone that will pay him as much as Tony will. That's the part fans don't think about, these guys are athletes and most athletes only have a certain amount of time before their bodies breakdown so the goal is usually to play for the highest dollar possible before the end comes.

I think the tree analogy might be the most correct sum up of Chris Jericho as a wrestler in AEW. He wrestles like a tree, slow. His roots have grown into the dilapidated house that is AEW and ruined it from the inside out. And the people who defend him are those tree root parasites that build a frame work around the tree and just feed off his rotten nutrients.

Jesus, Chris Jericho has become the Willie Mays 1973 Mets version dropping balls in the world series.
