Those kids are lucky (blessed). There are some families in our school district with the same amount of children as the Gaffigans and they only have one or two devices to share.

It made me think of Lloyd Braun on SEINFELD: "This is what Lloyd Braun must have sounded like just before 'Serenity Now!' stopped working and he exploded and had to go to the Funny Farm." Remember his cautionary words to George Costanze: "Serenity now--insanity later."

Jim,you and your wife are Excellent Parents!Hands-on parenting is the best,(if you dont go insane-of course!) Lol! 😁😁😁It takes alot of energy, patience,& time to be good parents.You both have taught them excellent manners+ the ability to be compassionate to others.I love that they understand,& practice the blessing of giving back to their community! Any help for our Essential Workers is greatly appreciated! For some reason we got a "horse tack" catalog in the mail yesterday. As the kids were looking at all these knee pads and ankle braces for horses they both said, " Oh man, Jim Gaffigan should see this thing!" They love his show about horses.

Patrick - the youngest - is really smart and funny, like JIm. Beefcake is like Jim Carey. Michael is like Andy Kaufman. Katie is like Cate Blanchette, and Marre is like Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Jeannie is like Bill Shoemaker running the home stretch.

I don't understand why the parents have be one teachers at home.this isn't homeschooling.this should be the same basically as if children are in school.teachers instructing.children reading and being tested.

I am a tutor that is trying to do this from a distance... with kids with ADHD... this is beyond crazy.... on a good day, I have to be in the room to get them to do anything... it's been rough...

Love you guys. I homeschooled for 20 years. Never had to give it to someone else to do. Never used a curriculum. No lessons at all. And everyone is employed with Master degrees. Love the way you discipline the kids. I was a nanny for 40 years and I want every parent to watch your family. You guys need to write a parenting book. I'm one of 12 so I love the "chaos".

It is interesting to see what people have to go thru. I don't think I would be able to do it. I'd just say, "Kids, go play your favorite board game. Do a jigsaw puzzle. I'm going back to bed. Wake me when it's over."

Its odd , I hated Jim's TV series, but everywhere else I love him. He is great on Law and Order, all three of that he was in, his stand up is great, and this was good too. Keep safe Mr. Gaffigan.

If this had been going on when my kids were in school we would have been fine. My son was always the tech guy for everyone we knew. The only thing we would have had to deal with would have been phone calls from other people and him having to walk them through it. He had a computer in our living room for my daughter and he made it were he could watch everything she was doing from his in his bedroom. He worried about the internet pedophiles.

I think teachers are going to get a lot more respect after this. Try doing tech support with THIRTY kids, Jim, while still imparting knowledge and trying to keep them from killing each other. You don't have a clue how tough it can be.
