@@GriffinPoole His dad was not in as active in his life too plus from what I’ve read he wasn’t a good role model. So that is enough. But here’s the thing, I’ve noticed that daughters can be in the exact situation yet still not make wrong choices like the sons. Why is that? I was raised by my mom and she did a great job with me. I have a Master’s Degree and I have investment properties. My dad became a crackhead 7 yrs AFTER my mom broke up with him. He started hanging with the wrong crowd. Plus, he was literally the only person in his family who was like this. He was raised in a 2-parent home but still end up doing bad. It’s just weird. I love our black men but I am scared to have a son.

The best we can all do if we support what Dee1 was getting at is to stop giving platforms and air time to those that glamorize, promote, and push cultural dysfunction and degeneracy. Jim Jones bout a half a century old making veiled threats to another man on an international platform all because he said certain people should be more mindful about the energy they put out there in their music. Real 🤡 Ish. Let’s stop supporting this mess. I know Sway has a job to do & often has to put his personal feelings aside but it would’ve been pretty powerful if he would’ve ended the interview when they started issuing veiled threats to Dee1 & said he had no interest in platforming that kind of nonsense on his show. Sway is definitely at a place in his career where he should be able to do that & not worry about the repercussions for doing so.

If enough folks take a stand and refuse to platform this childish, destructive bs, these artists will be forced to change or disappear into obscurity.
