When you think of Jim Parsons, Sheldon Cooper comes to mind! Viewers came to love and adore the quirky genius over the period of more than 12 years, so when the show ended, it was a sad day indeed. It turns out that the series wasn’t canceled, but that Chuck Lorre decided to end it after Jim decided to bid an era farewell.

Darling, there's this movie he played with Mark Ruffalo that is amazing (the normal heart, I guess ) , u can't simply see Sheldon, I don't know how, he just makes it happen... There's also hidden figures, amazing movie, you see someone else instead of our beloved nerd 🤓

@@memesfamilyguyandtvshows You can't just blame him for that and though yes I know you were probably going through a tough time, you can't just lay your anger onto someone else for it. It's not like they were aware of what kind of position you were in. Acting in the same role for a while can be tiring after a while and it's reasonable that he doesn't want to continue it. At least he still wants to keep the community happy by giving them Young Sheldon.

I hope he matures and doesn’t do this victim role in his other relationships. Highly disfunctional thinking :( Jose, no one is responsible for another persons happiness, no one OWES you anything and certainly strangers who don’t know you, owe you nothing. Sheldon and the show helped me when I was down all the time and when I heard it was going to end my heart was broken and sat in bed for the rest of that day. But at least it's on Netflix and his legacy as Sheldon lives on.

I did see Jim in "The Boys in the Band" and it is absolutely worth watching... I would recommend it . My favorite role Jim Parson's has played that I have seen other than Sheldon Cooper so far is as the district attorney in "Extremely Wicked , Shockingly Evil , and Vile" along side Zac Efron... watching those scenes in the courtroom with Jim... I was very impressed at how much range he has as an actor . I mean Sheldon Cooper won me over as he was but "Extremely Wicked , Shockingly Evil , and Vile" was a whole other ball game and Jim knocked it out of the park . Thank you for this video... and much appreciation to your channel .

At some point you stop being a person in the eyes of the public, you become that one character for the rest of your life. Will & Grace and Dharma & Greg helped me to survive my teenage years (They still do!). But it was The Nanny that made my childhood bearable. I just found out that there will be a reboot and now I can't stop smiling 🙃

Not making Sheldon Cooper gay is one of the biggest TV opportunities missed. However, it would've been a difficult storyline, as they showed him asexual and gay advances unlike Amy's advances would not have been taken comically. Alas.

Why cant they just stick to the fact that he is a very creative and talented human!!!!????? So he is amost 50, and I can believe he faced the fear of coming out, yet I am older than him by 11 years and born in the deepest of the deepsouth! In high school I had friends that were totally out and had been for almost all of our entire four years in HS. Also! why fear that coming out in HW?, you couldn't come out? Ahhhhh £$£$$£$£$$£$£ So when he did come out, it made ZERO difference and fans loved him more, for his talent and honesty and humanity, and as for marriages of SSC's, that is nothing these days either! People simply assume we care about any of the personal sexual stuff, NOT ALL OF US DO, we care about the craft and creative talent!

1. no one is obligated to do anything for anyone. 2. he didn't cost anyone their jobs, he realised he didn't want to play the part anymore and the director of the show made the call to end the whole thing, it could've continued without him but the director made the call, not him.
