Agreed…his 1997-1998 heel run was fantastic. Badd Blood vs. The Undertaker is still a classic.

HBK was definitely THE MAN! He'd always get the upper hand on Austin every week in their build up to WM 14 whether it was some sweet chin music for the KO or DX/Mike Tyson restraining Austin while HBK kissed his bald head to humiliate him. Then WM 14 happened in which Austin finally got his big pay off when Mike Tyson turned on HBK and fast counted him in the ultimate betrayal.

Re: JR’s black eye, this was from January. He had a fall in his house when he was on his way out to get to Battle of the Belts. Apparently he went face first into a concrete wall. He tweeted about it at the time, think he might’ve also acknowledged it on TV. Still hadn’t completely healed when he taped the following week’s episode with Conrad.

I heard Macho Man punched him because of something involving Mrs. Elizabeth. But thats just Rumor and Innuendo. I also MIGHT be getting my stories mixed up....

bell to bell nobody to this day can touch Shawn. Vince kept paying him all that time because if you have the greatest ever, you don't let him go to another company if there's any chance he wrestles again. As JR said.. all well worth it. Came back in 2002 and was instantly the best in the world again until he retired. wrestling misses HBK

Austin is my fav of all time no one else is close but if I had to pick 1 wrestler to have a main event quality match against anyone then it'd be HBK no questions

@@jest3167 Steve and Shawn wrestled so much in 1996, I saw them live once. They went 3-4 months when Shawn was champion doing house shows together every week. On Steve's podcast he says Shawn is the greatest worker he as ever seen or wrestled. pretty cool.

@@jest3167 Yeah, I could care less about that. I judge him by his work, plus Vince knew Shawn was the best, that's why he let him do what he wanted and chose Shawn over Bret.

It was good to see Shawn back in 2002 and they needed him with several top names like Austin retiring and other big names becoming more like part time workers like Rock and Taker

Yeah HBK was the top face of Raw while Undertaker was the top face of Smackdown all the way until HBK retired in 2010.

Whoever is making the titles for these videos has no idea what a "shoot" is. A "shoot" in wrestling is when you say something about the behind the scenes goings-on when you're not supposed to talk about it. These videos should be titled "JR explains why" not "shoots on why."

I’m not sure you understand what the meaning or concept of a shoot is. Shoot is just another word for real. A shoot match is a real fight vs a worked one. A shoot interview is simply a interview or statement of truth from that persons perspective.
