Sonax BSD is a tremendous product. I get close to 2 months protection spraying over existing LSPs laid down on my car and never have a problem with streaking, in spite of the harder water source my home has access to. Self-cleaning abilities of BSD are also phenomenal.

Hello :) Using 50% water and 50% product in a sprayer give good shine and good beading effect? More easy to wipe like this? Just ordered one bottle and when i will use it on my car i don't know if i will do : -100% original product -50% original product and 50% deionized water on a sprayer -2/3 original product and 1/3 deionized water on a sprayer ????? Better to use on dry car or it's the same result on wet car?

Gonna pick this up today and try it as a waterless wash 3to1. If it works well, and adds a minimal amount of protection then it’s a great bargain considering you’re not gonna find a waterless concentrate from anyone else at the local auto parts store. Plus, I want it to protect, but not long term so that if I do a customers car I can still up sell them on a spray wax/sealant topper. Thanks Jimbo!

Thx for this review and Yes it is !!! Been using PBW Natty's Blue, CG Jetseal, Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Wax, none of them come close in terms of durability. BSD gives me with ease 4-6 weeks of protection. I spray one microfiber cloth with bsd (keep it damp) another one to buff off immediately. Only con i have with bsd, it feels somehow grabby in comparison with other sealant/waxes....but what shine, beading and sheeting. If you don't like the grabby feeling, you could try to dillute it with detailer like pbw Spray & Wipe.

I have been using Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer and P&S Bead Maker for awhile. Once I use up the Sonax up I think I will just use Bead maker. Sonax is not bad but it just doesn't give you that wow facter Beadmaker does. I can't say how long it lasts as I wash my cars to often but the shine is average, and I don't think its any better than others I have used like Meguirs Spray Wax and Fast Finish and Griots Final Detail. These are all good and this Sonax and Net Shield are right with them but not any better. Just my weekend detailers opinion.

Mix it 50/50 with Adams Detail spray, been doing this for a while now. My experience is that You get the best of both. Gloss and slickness of Adams and crazy beading/sheeting of BSD. Also the mix gets mostly Adams application and flashing characteristics so helps application also. (allthough I dont find BSD hard to apply, I think its down to understanding what it is and how to handle). You can dilute BSD 50/50 with water without any noticable effect on performance and durability. (been tested to death by myself and others) I suppose You can mix it into other products also to infuse the hydrophobic effect. I know its been mixed with Bouncers done & dusted detailer also with perfect results.

I’m from the east coast of Australia (Sydney). We are in drought and have water restrictions where we can only use buckets to wash our car. I HATE scratches and swirls on my paint work. My car is over a year old and the paint job is as good as the day I picked it up from the car yard - not a mark on it. How can I clean my car effectively without causing marks on the paintwork? I haven’t been washing my car as often because of my concerns. We have car washes where you do it yourself but the water/suds come out of a fairly stiff brush and I don’t want to put the brush on my car.

@@autodetailingpodcast FK 425 has a very loyal following. It's not a HOT new product, but is well known to be great quick detailer and drying aid. It has anti-static agents to reduce the attraction of dust, leaves a super slick finish and is very affordable at $22.50 a gallon when it's on sale. Give it a try and maybe do a review?

DPW 247 Yes! Finish Kare 425 it is very slick... i liked it... i am curious how is compared to Bead Maker (is not available in my country). Sonax BSD is the best on hydrofobic side and has one of the biggest longevity for a QD. I use BSD as drying aid diluted: 1 part BSD and 3 parts distilated water. If i want to protect a sealant or a Wax i will put BSD straight with a short pile microfiber and buffing with a long pile microfiber so i don’t have streaks (of course in shadow, not direct in sun). Sorry for my english. Like your channel. 👍👍👍

The German market currently looks like a Polish product ABDL synthetic spray wax is overtaking the Sonax. Was a Sonax fan for years and I have continued, the ABDL is a little better (lasts longer)
