Had the local Oreliy order me one. It does a great job with water spots on the paint , and windows. Really cleaned up my metal bumpers on my 2015 Ram as well as the factory plastic rim covers after the initial cleaning. It's tough to explain but it behaves like a detail spray neutralizing cleaning residues as well as a typical spray wax leaving some gloss behind.. The factory rims on the ram always had a residue look after cleaning but with an application of this stuff they look really good. The key is to have 2 microfiber clothes . 1 to apply and the 2nd to buff the haze clear with.

We seldom have days as hot as in Texas, but Chicago's water is very hard and my car is metallic burgundy. I use a hose sprayer with a mixing reservoir. My first rinse is with white vinegar. My second is with Finish Rinse agent for dishes, which has a neutralizer for hard water plus glycerine. On a well maintained* paint finish, the water doesn't bead, it sheets off glass and paint. * I maintaint the paint semi-annually with Meguiar's Paint Protect after a Dawn wash in the shade. No haters please, it works for me.

Scott, great video! Thank you! I have a question for you... Since this spray wax is used as a spot free rinse in car tunnels, have you or anyone you know, tried using it in a foam cannon for a final rinse? I was thinking if it can be diluted correctly for a final rinse, it would save time in spraying it on between rinsing and drying. I'm in AZ and the water dries about as fast as you can put it on here. Any suggestions on how much chemical to water mixed in the reservoir of the cannon?
@shadeaux53512 жыл бұрын
Have you figured out the dilution ratios?
@Premier_Auto_Detailing2 жыл бұрын
@Shadeaux No, I have not. I still have it and use it every once in a while, but I've since invested in a DI water system eliminating the need to use the F4. It is a good product though and does work as Scott shows. My inky complaint about it is it does have to be buffed off while drying and is a little streaky if you're not careful. I may try to figure out a good dilution ratio in the future for curiosity's sake and make a YT video on it.
@shadeaux53512 жыл бұрын
@@Premier_Auto_Detailing Okay, gotcha. In short, I was curious because I'm 18 and trying to start up my own detailing business in rural Nebraska. I detailed my own car for the first time earlier today and realized (after using Purple Power Wash and Wax) that I hadn't cleaned everything off fast enough; of course, there were some pretty bad water spots. How do you use this product Scott mentions? Do you buy a bottle of pure pdms and dilute it into water?
@Premier_Auto_Detailing2 жыл бұрын
@Shadeaux I'm not sure if you have O'Reilly Auto parts up there, but you can order a gallon of Superior Products F4 for around $20. Put it into a spray bottle (I mix it 4 parts water to 1 part product) and that's it. It does work well as he shows! I personally am not a fan of the Purlle Power. If you're using a foam cannon, I'd recommend trying Chemical Guys Honeydew Snow Foam. You only need about 1-2 ounces per container of water so it goes a pretty long ways. Also if you're sing a cannon on an electric pressure washer, make sure you get a smaller 1.1 orifice for it! For a couple of dollars, it will make a massive difference on how much foam you get!!

Hi Scott, just love your videos, simplistic and effective, I just want to ask what do you think of "chemical man detail spray wax", seems that is the best value for me in australia, the product is made in california regards chris

I apologize for the ignorance you've been through, but I want to thank you for your heart and willingness to allow other people to be great in your same industry by sharing your living and acquired hard earned knowledge. And why would somebody wait to watch this video, just to dislike it.

I called him. His wife answered. Lied and said he wasn't home. At 5:00 a.m.? He was home.
