I worked at call center, where we cold called people to switch their cell phone operator (we have 3 in my country). The recording of calls, strict watching of call time (of individual calls and total call time) and break time is a standard practice. Of course you have monthly plan of how much at least you have to sell. Let me tell you, it´s not an easy job. Usually we had about 30 calls/hour. It´s true that most of them weren´t picked up. And when they picked up, usually after you introduce yourslef, they tell you to f**k off and hang up. Only about 10 % of people who answered the call were willing to listen to what you have to say. And from those 10 %, only for few of them you could find solution that benefits them. And again, only margin of those people were willing to buy your product. Most of them just said they go to the official store of the operator (to which we had to say that we have products that they won´t get at the store - which was true, but only partially, or that we have cheaper prices - definitely not true). We had tables around the office with most common arguments from people and how to react to them (like... I need time to think about it and check other operators, what if they had better products than you - reaction: ok, I understand, but this is limited time offer and I don´t know for how long I can hold it for you - definitely not true) And about hearing other operators talking - thats because the computers are so close next to each other. Imagine sitting there, hearing other people talk with their customers, while you have to concentrate on your job, and you have quota to fill. Needless to say, I switched job pretty quickly.

You're my new favourite person in the world, so happy to hit that subscribe button! Your technical skill is so impressive (especially to a luddite like me who knows just enough to avoid scammers like these, but not much more), but your compassion for scam victims and the way you go above and beyond to help people in the moment, but also work to take down these companies, is amazing. Yeah, I laughed too. Back in the mists of time, Norton had a good name in AV software so it's probably a name that the less tech savvy can identify, hence it's use by scammers. By "good name", I mean they were among the first to market a program that might, on a good day, actually identify and kill a virus. Before that there had been nothing. Software was very expensive so there were a lot of "warez" being distributed by bulletin boards, who also had no means of checking whether it was carrying a virus, so enevitably, it was. Viruses were endemic, Norton the knight in shining armour. How times have changed. 😉

If this is what I think it is, the message was generated on the web site you visited, not from malware in your computer. If you never go to that site again, you won't see the message again. There are many sites with a cleverly designed misspelling of a common URL. Mis-type one letter when trying to access Google, for example, and you may land on one of those. That would explain why your system scans found nothing.

These are sophisticated scams. Well done on obtaining the information. I'm shocked at how much these are treated like professional businesses. I watched with intriguensss as graphs, Excel, and other business data and analysis went by. Most likely, business analysis info I learned from school! Truly none are afraid of getting caught, and must have agreements with more than just the other software and ad companies. I wonder if taxes, bribes, or fees are paid by companies.

I got to say, they got the full time employees on a good schedule. When I worked for a job for 8 hours a day, we were suppose to be getting two fifteen minute paid breaks and a thirty minute unpaid break for lunch. Of course, at my partiuclar job before I got there, the employees had got the company to agree to cut the unpaid lunch and just put the two paid ones together for a lunch. Kinda pissed that I wasn't informed beforehand as I was just quitting smoking and was really relying on those two breaks to help get through the night and ended up going back to smoking. That set me back for months. I also feel really bad for Micheal Despite Their Claims. He sounds like an average guy just having real problems and trying to find help.

If notifications aren't going through, he can't fix it. The issue is either KZfaq's fault or the device you are supposed to be getting the notification on. ex : If you block notifications from the KZfaq app on your phone. ex : Presuming your browser needs to be partially loaded at all times to provide notifications, then if you were to terminate the browser process to free up RAM. I do both of the above... because I don't need my phone booping to tell me a video is up (I check youtube when I actually have time to watch anyway)... and I don't need Chrome taking up 3GB of my 8GB of RAM when I'm trying to play Stellaris.
