What happens if you're able to email all the customers of a scam organisation and demonstrate how they've been scammed? This video shows how 'Supremo Innovations' (part of TegiYogiITSolutions) commission fake virus popups to fool people into paying them.
Here, I'm able to warn all of the victims of this scam. Supremo Innovations are now having to refund them.
More detailed information about them: www.scammer.info/d/11296-tech...
This is the link to a different video which I sent to all of their victims: • You have been scammed ...

I am sorry that these people make your wonderful country get a negative reputation online. It's not like there aren't scams and frauds from every other country, but these tech support scams get particular attention in online communities. And the only reason so many of them come from India is because Western companies have created a market for them by outsourcing legit tech support to India, which gives scammers a business model, technology, and experienced workers to build these enterprises with.

Sumit, I actually listed the same on another of Jim's videos.... I have a reliable source close to this area whom have informed me of the exact same as you stated above. They have actually given me summations of dealings of these corrupt factions of law enforcement in this region. Thank you for saying this and letting all these people know. Also, any of the "busts" are simply a way to "pretend" to show a care or concern.

I live in Australia, and like most places in the world we are inundated with these types of calls and emails and texts. My very elderly mother almost became a victim, she suspected they were scammers and just hung up but they rang every half hour and increased the verbal abuse which frightened her, and she rang me in tears. So I went to her place and we waited for the next call from them and once we were sure it was them we got the personal alarm that I bought her and let it rip down the line, I know it wasn't right to do that but now she has a way to defend herself against their nasty persistence. Luckily she gave no details to them, but she was getting to that stage because she was frightened and wanted them to stop. I don't have enough to give you through your patreon, but I can thank you for what you do, helping people directly and indirectly via the videos. Cheers!

Being a person of a more “mature” age 🤭, I appreciate the professional way you handle yourself. I feel there’s a better chance that those more likely to fall victim will take it seriously. For those who have been scammed, especially the IRS scams in the US, where they take every last penny one has, it’s in no way funny. Unfortunately our government is not taking it seriously either. I have used your videos to show many people how the scams work. There seems to be a large number of elderly people falling victim in my community recently. I am excited that I might be able to safely further participate! Heading to the website now.Thank you “Jim”✌🏻💛

Yes we have had the same IRS scam here in Australia only ours is called the ATO. Apparently they scour the online telephone book and pick numbers of people where there is only one name, assuming that they are possibly elderly, and all on their own, so therefore vulnerable. I just hang up as soon as I hear that gap just before the VOIP kicks in and they start talking, it's gotten to the stage that if their number doesn't come up with a name from my list then I don't know them so I don't answer and then I put a block on that number. Cheers!

I was put onto this channel by one of my customers today. I work for a U.S. based remote technical support company known as OneSupport. We're based out of San Marcos, TX, with many of our agents working remotely (from their homes), including myself. Even the remote agents are American and live in the continental U.S. as we do not employ anyone overseas. We've been in business for over 21 years (as OneSupport) and were in business even longer - since 1993 - under our old name of teleNetwork. We started as an outsourcing company, basically doing customer service, internet help desk, and sales support for many different clients (mostly I.S.P.s). Right around 1999, we began letting agents work remotely and knew we would need an internal help desk for those agents in case they had difficulty with their tools. So, OneSupport began as teleNetwork's internal help desk. After a few years of this, we eventually decided to open OneSupport to the public (in addition to still being the internal help desk for our company) in an effort to bring in more business by providing a competitive option versus other similar companies, like Best Buy's Geek Squad, Staples, etc. We've been growing in leaps and bounds since then and completely rebranded the company last year, dropping teleNetwork from our name and adopting OneSupoprt as the company name overall. This was basically to improve brand recognition. I only mention all this because we don't advertise nearly as much as larger companies like Best Buy, so many of you may not be familiar with us yet. If anyone wants to check us out, our main site is www.onesupport.com . On this site, you'll find information about all of our residential services, links to important other sites, like our Better Business Bureau profile, our shopperapproved.com profile, and our social media accounts (including Facebook, Twitter, and KZfaq channel.) Worthy of note: We always try to be upfront with customers about who we are when they call in. (Our greeting is: Thank you for calling OneSupport. My name is _____. How may I help you?) If a customer makes it sound like they didn't hear that or they think they're calling some other company (like Microsoft, for example) we make sure to correct that impression. While we are a licensed re-seller of Microsoft Office products, we do not claim to be Microsoft. We get prank callers all the time, lol. But we are able to help quite a few people as well, so it's worth it. Anyway, I was helping a 70 year old grandmother (I'm not allowed to use these customers' names) earlier who was taken advantage of by a scammer. The scammer had remote access to her PC and was actively controlling her computer when she called me. I immediately had her unplug her router/modem combo so the scammer couldn't fight the customer for control of the mouse. After that was done, I explained how these scams work (and how to avoid them in the future). I got her started with our services, helped her kick the scammer off the computer, then got ready to transfer her to one of our techs, who would then run a full PC tune-up, including scan for (with REAL malware removal tools like Chica PC shield, TDSS Rootkiller, Roguekiller, Trojanremover, etc., etc., ad nauseum) and remove any malicious software the scammer may have left on the machine. Before I could transfer her though, the customer's grandson came home and talked with me for a while. After he was satisfied she wasn't still being taken advantage of, we went ahead with the transfer. Before he was transferred, he told me to look up "Jim Browning" on youtube saying I would like his content. I guess the reason he told me this is because I told him I like to call the scammers when I'm not working, let them into a VMware desktop and then toy with them to waste their time. I figure the more time the scammers waste with me, the less time they have to scam an innocent grandma. I've watched other "scambaiter" youtubers in the past (which is where I got the idea to bait scammers myself, not gonna lie, lol), but NONE of them are as thorough as Jim is. I've been watching this playlist and I have to say, I'm extremely impressed at Jim's investigation techniques. @@khanjra Thanks. We try our best. Our business has taken a hit lately because of the economic impact of Coronavirus on American consumers. But, thankfully, we did pick up a customer service contract with an I.S.P. we'd worked with before. They had been doing customer service solely in brick and mortar call centers prior, only allowing us to man the I.H.D. (Internet Help Desk). But, thanks to COVID-19, they decided to turn it all virtual and we were the first company they called due to our previous working relationship with them. So, thankfully, we haven't had to lay anyone off.

In the case of Google, I think that they don't have this because they're in on these scams (sort of). There are a number of ads through google for various services that will redirect you to the pop-up pages if yoy click on them, made worse by the fact that all google adds link to googleadservices, com where you are then redirected to the pop-up (or to malicious sites that try to do far worse to your system). While they're not running these scams, they are happpily linking to them, so they stand to lose if the were to block/flag them.

Hey Jim! I came across your KZfaq channel the other day & I’ve been hooked on your videos ever since! I’m so glad to see someone fighting these scammers & making a stand for the victims. Whenever I get a scam call I ALWAYS waste as much of their time as possible, I do this hoping that they will miss out on calling a few people because of the extra time they wasted calling me. I don’t know how to do anything you do so figured wasting their time is the least I can do. Watch out for email scams, my mom called me frantically a few weeks ago saying she got an email from Apple saying someone bought over $3,000 worth of Apple products (ipads, iphones, etc) with her credit card. She was so close to calling the number given & giving them info to sort it out because the email looked super legit, just like a normal email you’d get from Apple/ITunes but I told her to forward me the email because I was almost 100% sure it was a scam & sure enough it was! At the top of the email there was an order number so I called Apple support, gave them the order number & sure enough it was an invalid number aka it’s not legit. I was beyond happy that I got ahold of the email & called the legit Apple Support because my mother & I can barley pay our mortgage so we can’t afford to lose any money at all, let alone $3,000. I then informed my mother of the scam & have her real support numbers for Apple, Microsoft, etc. that way if she ever gets a funky email again she can call & find out that it’s a scam right away instead of worrying & possibly getting scammed. Another scam I encountered the other day was the Microsoft support scam, they called my cell phone, idk how cause I’ve never been scammed before & I’m on the “do not call” list but I guess that doesn’t matter, anyway... they called me saying my computer was at risk & they received an alert about it & they needed to fix the problem right away but it would cost me a bit of money. Funny part is I don’t even have a computer, my laptop (only computer in the house) broke a few weeks ago & I don’t have the money to get it fixed or to get a new one. Being I don’t have a computer I knew right away it was 100% a scam but of course I didn’t let on to the scammer I knew, I played along for 25mins acting like I was doing everything they said before finally informing them that I didn’t own a working computer & that I knew they were a scam but before I could even fully get the word scam out they hung up. They now call me everyday from multiple numbers that you can’t call back, everytime they call I either decline the call or I tell them the FBI is tracing the line & they immediately hang up. After a few weeks of telling them that the FBI was tracing all my calls to find them they eventually stopped calling LOL Thankyou for all you do Jim, keep messing with the scammers, they deserve every bit of it & please keep informing the victims, even if they don’t believe you atleast you did the right thing by trying & honestly that’s all you can do. p.s. Sorry for my book of a comment, didn’t realize I wrote that much till after I posted lol honestly I could go on all day about my encounters with scammers because that’s how frequently they call/email me... kinda sad to be honest.

Super job, Jim. I am thinking cut out the roots and the plant cannot grow. If the VOIP providers won't sell to them, they will have no phone numbers. If the internet providers won't sell to them, they will have no internet. Also, you are encouraging people to demand their money back, which is nice. But I think that since these people already fell for a rather obvious scam, so maybe they will give the scammers bank their account info for "direct deposit" or their home address to send a cheque. What method do you suggest for return of the money to avoid being re-scammed. I do believe scammers of any kind often return to the people who fell for it before with a slight twist on the scam. I get emails all the time saying oh we know you were scammed by a bad person, would you like us good people to help you get your money back? If so just provide us with your bank account details and a small processing fee.
