I find it amusing that fans do not think BTS knows what goes on in the world like they live in a bubble. They know of Oil London, they know Watt Pad is full of Fanfics and probably have read some. They know what is out there just as we do. BTS works 5 or 6 days a week with days off like anyone else. They go home after work just like everyone else. JK called their time off as "Standby" which means when in public they need to behave and represent the company in a good manner. BTS members have their own homes, their own friends, their own lovers, their own life.

BTS has a say when it comes to their group or personal business, if HYBE is going or doing something wrong regarding BTS then you can’t tell me these 7 men will not stand up for themselves. They have been in the industry long enough and are big enough to tell their management company to step back. Plus when said contract expires BTS has the option to leave if they are being taken advantage of.

I myself didn’t even know about Oli till my daughter and granddaughter told me the little bit they knew through pictures and post from others …I have to say on seeing some of what he was doing …my first thoughts and reaction was he is unusually extreme , kinda outlandish , way overboard( surgery) …of course it is his choice ,I realize that … I want to be able to respect that , but that choice to alter your face to look like someone else scares me some … … as in someone to at least be cautious about , wary of , on guard somewhat about ..so it was good to hear what your perspective is … as for me it was not so much that he hasn’t tried to harm, so far , but when I see what he is doing already my cautious nature says if he does this …could he at any point become a real threat or danger at some point ..I don’t say that he would …but seems like a potential to cross the line could possibly be there …so If Jimin was my son , and someone was acting that way toward him , or if someone was doing those things about my daughter …I would definitely be on my guard at least and would be not wanting them to be near him simply because I wouldn’t know what he might do else or not … when I’m out walking and I see a potentially scary dog in the distance barking and staring right at me it sure puts me on guard and I tend to turn around or go way around,,…..☺️ That animal might not bite me …But then again he just might. I agree with you 100% when it comes to those in the fan base that get extreme over every little thing… nothing but constant “ save the members “ that end up trending on Twitter when there isn’t anything or anyone who needs saved .. what will need to be saved is when the time comes( like some Hollywood celebrities ) who end up listed due to those in the fan base too cautious to consider wanting to collaborate or work at all with BTS due to the backlash if they look the wrong way at them that some of the fan base can shade so much hate it’s not worth doing such work with BTS.. this in turn will end up hurting BTS themselves and get such reputation as being “ difficult “ to consider working with.. which is sad because the members themselves seem to show no negativity towards others they collaborate with and are always in agreement with each other before any collaboration is released… BTS do their best to put out the meaning of positivity in all their work they do it’s a shame that some of those in the fan base can’t soak that in instead of the constant negativity they want to lash out all of the time.. it definitely gets tiring and in the long run can cause their sales to drop, hurting any chance of Kpop being taken serious in the World wide music industry due to the impact of the actions some of these fans take…BTS are talented music artists that put out meaningful messages if not through their lyrics but also in person verbally that it is time those that claim they love them make the effort to pay attention to what they are saying and stop with all of this negativity.. take a step back and listen

I think if ARMY had Dave Disci's balanced insightfulness maybe we could talk about the good things ARMY does. But unfortunately the visible part of ARMY seems such a hodgepodge of quickly triggered individuals bent on conducting media campaigns about minutia that all the good is pretty much obscured. The line from the outside is don't get ARMY mad, not wow this fanbase is committed not only to BTS but to a better world. Perhaps if ARMY had Dave Disci's rationality to balance their often unchecked emotionality the positive nature of ARMY would infect the world instead of the propensity to petty attacks being the face of the fanbase.

I have to admit this is the first video of Dave I have seen that I actually could fully sit through without cringing. I also have to say that the point of view expressed in this video is really well thought out. I have to agree with a lot of what was said.
