The autotune was great, its just for definition in areas and people should be happy jimin is widening his usage of what is sooo popular in other artists, its called artistry and to me jimin is the art in artist. There is no complacency in jimin when it comes to storytelling and art.

people complaining about SMFpt2 probably is used to very simple pop and couldn't understand or appreciate artistic use of autotune to distort his vocals for the storytelling. And entitled if they actually complain and act disappointed. It seems to be a small group within other kpop fandoms mostly, I haven't seen any talk of it among general public, they seem to get the artistic use of effects and be able to appreciate his natural tone in it. And the rest of Jimin's album is very much rawer and more natural voice so it will be easier for them.

Voice modulation in Set Me Free was an artistic choice. It sounded like an inner voice talking to himself. Anyone with issues should listen to the whole album first, it tells a story and everything is there on purpose. All I can do is advise those people (who I don't think are real ARMY) is to listen to Letters (album only hidden track). I think this is his best vocal ever.💜
