I think we are so used to watching Jimin being cute and adorable (and also sexy on stage) like that’s all we knew BUT NOW! He did this and I’m speechless, he is the definition of ARTISTIC! I can’t imagine the amount of effort he put in this and all I can do is to thank him for sharing this with us… truly I think he is hungry for freedom, musical freedom, hungry to show his individuality and his true self as an artist aside of BTS. This song is such a banger, ive been waiting for it for ages and now it's finally here. I'm in love with the choreo as its so jimin. I love jimins vocals in the song aswell,vand the lyrics relatable aswell. I also love the MVs darker colours aka the black and blue as they really set the mood Jimins is trying to create and this is a side of jimin I've been waiting to see and I love it.

It also has elements of Lie in it. Especially the part where the dancers lift him up and he reaches towards the sky. That is taken directly from the Lie choreo. The part towards the beginning where he, and the dancers, rush forward is from Black Swan. The line "Going insane to stay sane" is from the lyrics of ON. So, all three are mixed into this one.

jimin said in interview that this song has the same feeling with ON 😂 also The poem Jimin has written on his body is in German and by a famous poet called Rainer Maria Rilke. The poem is called ‘I live my life in widening circles’ and was written in 1899.

We can see Jimin and whole BTS growing from teens to young men and their music and art grows with them unlike so many (not all!) kpop groups who perform label music and sound is same after 5-7yrs, only image change time to time (cute, sexy, sassy, strong - what ever label wants). And thats not only kpop... if here West singer/group find "formula-to-fame" they defenetly stig on there - yrs after yrs😅. This is powerfull art, Ji-Min🔥💜. I read somewhere else (can’t remember I have watched so many reactions) BUT THE SET BEHIND HIM is a PANOPTICON PRISON (see Presidio Modelo) (where the prisoners are all being watched up above by Big Brother) that is the set behind and all around him. So not only is he singing Set Me Free but the setting is a Prison. THIS BLEW MY MIND!!!
