He looked so happy when singing “rather die while I’m living than live while I’m dead” :)

You are not the only one. I knew a few that were played on the radio.... Since Labor Day weekend I listen to Jimmy Buffett every day. I am one month younger than he was.... The funny thing is I don't feel like I missed out on being a parrot head.... More that it was my time to find all his music and really enjoy it. Everyday I listen to his music sing the songs like I have known them for years and years. Continue to fly high with the angels and I will continue to enjoy the music because it will live on forever.

This is the first song that came to my head when I heard of his passing. He was always touring and live streaming his conferences till the end. He lived this song, and a great life. Thank you for everything, RIP Mr. Buffett

This has been my life's mantra since I was in my 20's. Now at 64, nothing has changed. I can be a grownup when I absolutely have to, but the rest of the time I am still the same immature cut up I have been my whole life.

Something about this show. Intimate, beautiful, therapeutic, fun….Jimmy, Mac & Robert really bring it. Jimmy at his most chill. Love the 3 piece band, but there’s a full band show from Gulf Shores show after Katrina that really rocks. A bunch of special guests, & unlike the tour set lists- which were always fun- this (especially this one) & Gulf Shores stand out as being JB without most of the usual accoutrements ( a word I heard him use to describe what rabid PH would wear to shows!). Jimmy Buffett- storyteller, ringleader, troublemaker. Living life & loving it.

A great philosophy from a modern day prophet. Jimmy will live forever through his music. Rest in peace. You made the world a better place. Something we should all strive for. Thanks for the memories

This and "If the Phone Doesn't Ring it's Me" I thought of after I heard the worst news. I've been a Parrothead since 1976 long before Timothy Schmidt told him his fans were like deadheads, only Parrotheads.
