At this point he knew it was terminal but was just wanting to play his music, one of those songs been the song track to my life

Of all the celebrity deaths...this one hits the hardest. He spent a lifetime putting smiles on millions of parrotheads faces...and set the course to escape reality with every song you heard. Thank you for the memories. I'm glad you found that One Particular Harbour and dropped anchor.

So sad, he was so brave. I can hear his voice wavering. You used your well-lived life to make people happy, Jimmy, and thank you so much for sharing your smile. God Bless Jimmy Buffet.❤

Great to have some video of Jimmy's ĺast performance. Obviously close to the end. That said, despite the very advanced stage of his illness, with his great friend, Mac, assisting, a lovely final performance. Maybe not perfect, but what is. Just great to have this to add to all the other magic material to play and replay over the coming years. Thanks for all the fun you gave us Jimmy and for leaving so much we can enjoy forever.

Not sure how he was feeling but it was July 4th weekend sort of and he didn't have any of his own shows scheduled... He may have been in some or a lot of pain, maybe had something to ease the pain or just didn't feel that great but wanted to do something like his normal self for those who love him... I saw him in my hometown college town when I was age 15 on March 16, 1980... Probably my 1st real concert----for certain... Been hooked ever since.. I told some younger girls at a Margaritaville a few days after he died that this man shot out so much creativity over the years his fans couldn't even keep up with it all... That includes me... It is a big hole left in my life and I am sure so many others who won't be able to catch a Buffett show again and just know the guy is still around.... Bubbles Up is a little hard to listen to right now---makes me so sad but, I will get there..... I am 58 and all the great artists are leaving us and finding newer inspirational musical artists is very hard to come by.... Love you Jimmy Buffett !!!!

I lost a great friend. While I never did get to sit down and pick with Jimmy or even talk to him, as a commercial pilot I did happen to cross paths with him in the hallways of airports where he had arrived to do a show. It was always a casual how are you Jimmy. I first saw Jimmy at a concert in Murray Ky back in the mid 70’s and I have been a Parrot Head ever since I have put over 35 of Jimmys songs here on KZfaq but I sure never expected to lose him so soon. RIP JB a legend never dies.

Are we watching the same video? He's in end stage cancer here. He's lost a lot of weight and looks frail. His voice is shaky. And he lost his place in the song. This performance is an absolute treasure but let's not pretend he's well!
