I never knew the story of them raising 30K as a band to finance Gish and then only signed a contract after the first album. That is mind blowing.

I was talking about how he sniffs a lot. Cuz coke causes you to do that haha. It just might be because he did a lot of drugs back in the day and fucked up his nose or maybe he just naturally breathes like that from his nose? who tf knows... But yeah I wasn't trying to talk shit...

being a speaker at an Event is incredibly overwhelming. you have to be able to tell a great story and be captivating to keep the audiences attention all the way through. trust me, not easy.

Good speech. Jimmy was heroin addict and fired from pumpkins when keyboard player died of overdose.

christothegreat1 Jimmy was only fired from the band for one album in the late 90s. He was rehabilitated and brought back for the last 2 albums before the SP broke up. He was also the only other original member besides Billy Corgan who took part in Billy’s next band Zwan, along with the late 2000s reformation of the SP.

Damn sad. This is the same basic meandering schpeal this guy has been giving for over 3 years. Saw him speak at SXSW in 2015. Nothing new. Nothing of use for a crowd of young tech entrepreneurs trying to learn and prosper. Live One was/is a joke. I'm bummed.
