Jimmy Johnson was a coach who could assess talent. He drafted playmakers and made the Cowboys relevant again going from 1-15 to winning back-to-back Super Bowls. How bout' them Cowboys. P.S.-Not a Cowboys fan (Detroit Lions), but JJ was a good coach.

The Dallas Cowboys will always be America's team! I lived in Austin and was at the training camps then went to the Rose bowl to see Superbowl XXVII in person and it was like a dream come true. I was born in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex and lived in Texas all my life so I have been a lifelong fan so all I can say is "How 'bout them Cowboys!"

Same here..gives me shivers down my spine and makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Lifelong Cowboys fan and this was one of the greatest sports moments I have ever seen. Such a cool moment. I can't get over how young Troy Aikman looks. To me back in this era, it always seemed like the NFC championship game was the super bowl. I'll never forget toward the end of this game how nervous I got when the 49ers scored a touchdown to draw the score close again. All those feelings went away though when Alvin Harper caught that post pattern route and ran down the field. It's crazy how long ago this was.

Does seem like yesterday. Hard to believe that was 17 years ago. Have been a Cowboys fan since 1975. Went through the 1-15 1989 season and was ribbed a lot that year. But three years later (1992) Dallas won the Super Bowl. Thanks for posting this video. Hope the current team can have success, but a Super Bowl may be beyond them. But never know, look at the 2007 Giants, who would have thought that they would win it all that year.

I remember watching this with my best friend(also a lifetime Cowboy fan) and when Jimmy said those famous words...we just went crazy! Great memories and I think this team is ready to grab another title and catch the Steelers. I dont like them being one SB up on us. Seriously,I hate the Steelers but the Boys and the Steelers have a grudging respect because they have had so many great battles and met THREE times in the big game(still owe ya one Pitt). Nothing better than Dallas vs Pitt Super Bowl!

Back when the NFC Championship game was the Super Bowl. The winner of the NFC was the Super Bowl champ for almost 18 years in a row. No team shined more than the Cowboys. They demolished the Niners and beat up the old bullies (Eagles, Redskins and Giants). Great time to be a Cowboys fan - and an incredible journey to have the greatest coach walking the sidelines for Dallas. Thank you Jimmy!

I honestly didn't know if they'd get past San Francisco THIS time but likely the next year. I got real emotional during the post game because I was only seven the previous time they'd been in the Super Bowl (Super Bowl 13) And to go into Candlestick and beat a class organization like the 49ers had been and still were , was awesome. As great as this was, I was gloating the week before when Dallas destroyed Philadelphia.
