That's his coach!! They won a lot of games together. Aikman said it himself that even though they won another title under Switzer with Johnson's players, they were never the same team as they were under Jimmy Johnson.

Troy looking down at his former coach and mentor , knowing the role he played in helping Jimmy get to the hall of fame reflecting on their accomplishments and knowing that this was the final thing left to accomplish , seeing his coach who was a young man when they first met to now an elderly man and knowing they have come full circle and that all the stories have been told and there is truly nothing left to do other than ride off into the sunset . Looking back on one's life, even the bad times are perceived as good times because of the value they add to the total package of the experience. Despite all of the negative, they're where they're at today and Troy truly shows clearly how happy he is for Jimmie.

As a non Cowboys fan I will say this with my chest. This was WAY WAY overdue. Back in the 90’s the Cowboys looked unbeatable every year and a large part of that was JJ. He is an amazing coach, analyst, and person.

I loved having Jimmy Johnson as my coach, on the sidelines. My Cowboys would no longer be on the receiving end of being intimidated. And no one (fan, player or otherwise) wanted to win more than JJ. Thank you for letting me know pure elation and joy, as a Dallas fan.

Us Cowboys fans will always have a special place in our hearts for Jimmy Johnson. He made us a dynasty, never got the credit for it and was shown the door for absolutely no reason. We know that dynasty would have continued if he could have stayed and look at the state of the franchise ever since he left. We love you, Coach.

An observation from Chiefs Kingdom: Jerry Jones would rather be the star than merely the wealthy owner of a championship team. Jimmy Johnson would have brought him at least 2 or 3 more titles with the team he assembled if JJ hadn't run him off. Dallas could have been the 90's version of the Patriots.
