uphill drag race doesnt matter much, both are advertised as offroad and jimny is 2 times less power than thar, it doesnt even have true 4x4 drive for real life offroad muddy condition. thar is truly power monster with real 4x4 drive with differinial lock . only buy jimny if you care about mileage and fun to drive in cities

I see so many uninformed comments here .... Jimny is a better offroader than Thar... It might be slow but it is more utilitarian, practical, spacious. You can modify it to be much better as per your use. The automatic with throttle controllers and tuning options completely transforms it. Even the stock version is a mighty offroader and comfy daily commuter. Thar's ride quality sucks.... Its only an offroader .. not even bought for offroading but for show off. When offroading... Jimny does a bit better that too with a much better ride quality. BTW Jimny is not meant for racing 🙏
