People say he can’t dance and I’m not going to lie, when they first debuted he and rm was having trouble, but now as years have progressed on those two were the ones who really grew the most. We all start from somewhere and I loved this especially the clips where they had the young Jin and the older Jin 💜💜💜

For someone who started out wanting to be an actor, I think that Jin has become an awesome dancer. He is living proof that hard work and dedication pays off. When i first discovered BTS, I didn’t even know someone was labeled “bad at dancing” because their performances are all good and they’re very synchronized. I’m at awe. Still am. So yeah, Jin may not be at Hobi’s level but damn my man is good and can dance. He rarely makes mistakes onstage too.

I love watching Jin dance. Truthfully, Jin has never been a bad dancer. I think Jin just get in his own head too much about his dancing, which from personal knowledge can be self-restricting. He's a great dancer & I hope he understands that. Also love watching his athleticism as well, most people know that Jin is good at tennis & snowboarding but I think people forget he also trained in Martial Arts. #RealOnesKnow

I am so proud of Jin , he struggled with the dancing early on, but he wasn't scared to ask for extra help( love watching Hobi help) and put in that extra time, and put in that hard work to become the amazing confident dancer he is now. Some of my favorite dances of his however for me are when he is just letting loose , no choreo just chaotic and fun, thats my favorite Jin.

The fact that he still took extra lessons to be sure he learned the ON choreography tells me everything I need to know. The resolve of his guy is pure *chef's kiss* Is he the best dancer in the group? No, he's not imo. Is he still an amazing dancer and entertainer? Heck yeah! And I admire him so much for so many reasons.

I think one of the things I noticed is he conserves energy for his parts(as JHope always says to pace yourself) … his parts usually come at the end, and his notes are mostly on the higher end (eg. PTD, Let Go and many more) …. Which is why people always praise his stability in Live vocals and performances … he never waivers …

Also, during that fire performance, Jin had a chronic neck pain but still managed to nail the performance.. 🔥👏🏼

What I love with Jin when dancing is he always has that expression of 'i'm locked in, don't disturb me, I am gonna nail this choreo!' And he does! The persistence, effort and hard work is so admirable. Also if you have seen that run episode where they had to guess the choreography, Jin got 99% of the answers correct! So while he says he has to take a little more time to learn choreo, you know he has all the details cemented in his brain. I remember when they played a random choreo game (I think it was the prom themed festa a couple years back), him and V were so good at remembering choreo from years ago.

Jin worked so hard to learn how to sing and dance. Jin hits the high note perfectly.

Jin’s body is more of a swimmers body. The fact that he has learned how to dance so well over the years is impressive. I’m so proud of him. You can tell how hard he has worked to improve over the years. He has learned to relax his body more and make smoother motions. He is an amazing young man.

Thanks for doing this one and showing Jin love! Jin stans knew this all along. I’ve said from day 1. The choreo wouldn’t be as phenomenal every time without anyone in the team “not being” a good dancer. The fact that Jin always fits in and you don’t notice him it’s a compliment and testament in itself. He’s doing his part well. And when you actually zoom in and do a Jin focus you would love his stage presence and charisma as well. I never had any doubts in Jin. He is also super athletic, so good at so many sports meaning his body got the chops. His body can adapt to the moves. He’s just the humble king who self-deprecates for laughs and it’s just against his personality to brag. There’s so much trash talk about him not being a good dancer only because he’s the one who can take it. And like-minded people attract so Jin stans also are attracted to his personality and we don’t really care as long as Jin is happy and it’s good to see he’s so happy these days. All and all, as a whole, Jin is just so beautiful to look at on stage for all the right reasons, his moves, his voice and his face. He is just shinny as a whole. You wouldn’t have that for someone who can’t dance. Jin’s swags are subtle but it’s how we like it. It’s elegant and tasteful. It’s not too in your face and never over the top.

For me the craziest thing about Jin's performance is that he keeps up with the others with the dancing, and then comes through usually at the end of the song and delivers stable vocals every single time. He's amazing!!

As someone who can’t dance at all, Jin is honestly inspiring. He’s not a natural dancer and he has to work HARD to make it look good and boy does it. Love Jin.

Jin is an amazing dancer and he's comes so far and it's all attributed to his hard work. From day 1 he was determined to do his best I remember the log he posted about working out everyday so he can dance better, hes truly amazing I usually look at the member in the back of dance formations usually because it's namjoon and jin and they are my biases 😄 but especially in the older songs they were always doing something dope in the back like if you look at the choreography for N.O jin and yoongi do this jump kick thing that is so dope but you have to look for it or you miss it I saw this thing somebody posted on Twitter years ago about how far the members at the back of formations have to travel during one song it was alot of moving and changing positions and so much hard work

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for doing this video. This man worked his a$$ off. He would go in weeks early to practice the choreo before the other members so he wouldn't feel like he's behind. I also love that the Maknae line will not let him him put himself down when it comes to dancing. One thing everyone should remember is that in the ON choreo Jin was not in the dance break, Suga was center an Jk was in Jins position. He had a very short window of time to perfect that choreo (Suga out from surgery) and he didn't disappoint. This is a most humble man who doesn't realize how extraordinary he is.

Great reaction! Nice to see some Jin focused content. He is so much more than just a visual and deserves to be recognized for his talent and hard work. The other thing too is since he is often in the back, he has to make a lot of transitions and move a lot in formation. He covers a lot more ground on stage than some of the main dancers. That is exhausting and he always hits his mark. So impressive.

Jin's work ethic, determination, and self belief/awareness of himself and his role, as the eldest hyung of BTS drives him to never let himself or his team down. Considering he started both singing and dancing from ground zero and considering, who he stands next to when performing especially JHope and Jimin who were born to dance, Jin certainly holds his own and should actually be very proud/happy with himself. However we all know none of those guys will settle for anything less than perfection. Jin is amazing!!

I've loved watching how you've come to understand Jin more and more; too many reactors never bother to learn about him and think he's just funny but vain (ironic, since the over-the-top WWH thing is part of his comic persona). It's especially nice that you wanted to learn more about his dancing, because Jin had to overcome more than starting from scratch and needing to work harder to learn the choreo. Being the younger son of a mom who favored his older brother, Jin already lacked confidence when he joined the group, and being constantly criticized and mocked for his dancing (and singing) were just more hits to his self-esteem, to the point where he's still complexed about it. In a 2020 MTV interview, he was asked about a memorable moment with fans that stands out. His response: When he made a mistake in the choreo and locked eyes with a fan who knew it was a mistake. How badly did the critcism and the jokes have to hurt that after 7 years of performances and interactions with ARMYs, that's the "memorable" moment? 😞 And let's not forget that in addition to the extra hours of practice, he had college courses and got his degree in 2017. 😲 Oops. One more thing: how much harder is it to learn and remember choreo when you have so few lines to use as reference points?!

Kk so I gotta do a little Jin love rant for a sec. Cause I got my bias, and I got my bias wreckerS (ot7 baby!!!), but the one I consistently stan because of the wonderful jinius he is, is seokjinie nie nie nie. Gotta love his dedication to working hard. His lack of confidence and his vulnerability over the years to express it to us really touches me all the time and the fact that he shows that it is his constant internal battle is very relatable. Dancing is not naturally in him but hes the main one of the 7 that shows me how much hard work is necessary to achieve your dreams and he is so much more inspiring than he even knows bruh! The boy is sooooooooo dedicated and committed he knows the dances and the music more than any of the other members because of how much he pays attention and works hard at it. If you watch the Run BTS you'll know the ones I'm talking about. Of BTS, he himself is a hardcore BTS stan and it shows. He's the most chill and silly. I love this man. Ok. Outside of that, I've been on a little rabbit hole watching Jin and giving him love that he deserves. I would like to offer a few suggestions for jins bday week. I have no specific videos in mind, but some titles to look for: - Jin being the king of quizzes and run BTS - Jin being the best hyung - Jins cooking compilation - and a specific one is 2015 hyyh onstage where he did a subunit with rm and jhope for converse high. That performance made me fall in love with his voice and become my personal favorite vocal. Weve heard his voice is like honey, but for me, his voice was like the most beautiful silk you've ever seen softly glide across the palm of your hand. Absolutely ethereal. you don't even have to do a reaction to it. Just listen and love it #RealOnesKnow

The thing I don't often see people mention about Jin's dancing is that while he gets a good amount of featured moments these days, it's still a reality that due to their choreo formations and his role in the group, he is very often partially blocked, fully blocked, or not on camera at all. Despite that, is there any doubt that he's still there, out of our view, dancing just as hard as if he was being shown front and center? Is there any doubt he practiced every single second of that choreo, put in the extra hours like he always does, even though he probably knows he might not be seen for parts of it? I've always thought it was a bit of a thankless position to be in, but that has never seemed to matter to him, he's gonna work hard and show up for his team, whether the fans ever get to see him do it or not! I do want to acknowledge that other members are often in the same boat... I love how Joon once said (and I'm paraphrasing here, I can't remember his exact wording...) that he and Jin always try their best as 'the wings that make up the back' of their dances, lol! But we are talking about Jin today, and I think Jin generally gets the most flack for his dancing as well.

Athletic Jin is always my thing, watch him on a snowboard, roller skates, waterskis, or even bicycle. So any moves that are more powerful Jin totally slays. The slinky smooth moves on Contemporary? Of course Jimin. Hip Hop? My bias Hobi is king. But that high core strength Black Swan move that Jin pulls with balancing on one leg, extending the other leg in front and then swinging around behind? The way Jin has evolved in his confidence, which is reflexted in his dancing over the years is just amazing! Now I want to see a video of Suga.

Another thing to note is the difficulty of Jin’s placement in formations. Often times viewers notice that the strongest dancers have the most time in the front; but it is actually very challenging to be in the back. One of the most challenging things Jin has mastered are the transitions. Dancers who are often in the back or have short time up front, do the most moving and travel the furthest on stage - a lot of times traveling further distances on stage, in less counts/steps. I see Jin taking long strides or bigger jumps to get to his next formation, which can easily throw a dancer off. Good job Jinnie, you’re awesome!

There is no doubt that Jin is an exceptional dancer. Personally I have tried quite a while to learn a choreography and to date I still remember that step continues I do not get anything right. Talent doesn't lie and Jin is a professional dancer without a doubt.

Sitting here watching and my body is in auto muscle memory doing the movements to each of the choreographies. Lol! If you watch the older videos in order of years you can see the growth in Jins dancing and his vocals. Dude put time and work in to improve.

I love Jin. You can literally tell that he tries so hard, maybe even too hard at times. Sometimes you can even see (on his face) when he's concentrating on his moves. He has come so far, and I love watching him do things the average person would have a tough time doing. I hate how hard he is on himself, but my gosh, his dancing is phenomenal. I really admire Jin, imagine how hard for him to practice to keep up with the choreo, I can't even do a simple body roll haha. He didn't dance or sing before he became BTS member, idk how he did it, my entire existence I tried singing even both my parents sings well, but everytime I sing, the sky just cry, sometimes wail.

Amazjin! I've been saying for so long that Jin is a really great dancer! It doesn't matter that he didn't start off dancing, or that he isn't a freestyler, he's still been able to learn the choreo and pull off some unbelievable moves! Jin is very attractive. It's not because his good visual but his high dedication and his hard working. Love to see his evolution and the happiness he always be. Hope he'll be the great actor asap.

I’ve always appreciated Jin for working so hard.. he is unbelievable.. first time I watched his live performances singing Epiphany (before we were gifted with his demo of Epiphany).. I literally had to sit on the floor and cry to avoid falling.. Jin is WWH, but to watch him laugh, I put it on repeat.. pure S E X Y.. aside from jaw dropping hotness, I fell in love with the artist he is… why he never knew how beautiful his voice is.. I am stuttering, to find the words, the way, he is and has always been destined to be one of Seven.. I’m old so I shouldn’t say how attractive he is.. I don’t think I could look him in the eyes without fainting hard… Thank you guys for your dedication to BTS.. I always look forward to WhatchaGot2say.. I’m going to join your patreon!!! Absolutely adore Jin ❤️. Makes me incredibly proud when I see, him pull off, such complex choreography, with so much passion and confidence. Coming from a non dance background, must make it so difficult for him to learn and execute such difficult dance routines with perfection, but he aces it and how. Such a hard worker, our dear Seokjinnie 💜

Jin isn’t my bias or anything but it really makes me mad when I see people say he can’t dance. I say LOOK AT HIM DOING THE CHOREO AND BEING IN PERFECT TIMING WITH THE OTHER MEMBERS! He is brilliant and yes he doesn’t have the dance background like Jimin or Hobi but the guy works super hard to perfect every single move. And you can clearly see his unbelievable progress over the years. Yes he wasn’t the best when he started but he dedicated himself to practice and perfecting his moves and timing. He is also a great actor so you can see that in his performances. He even laughs at himself dancing when he shouldn’t because honestly live or no live performance, he not only keeps up with the others but he freestyles and I dare anyone to say he’s not on time or in sync because he is. So thank you for this video. I’d love if you could view and comment on his own songs like Awake and Abyss because they are sublime.

Jin is someone to look up to. Never too old to start learning a new skill. I love the last clip N.O. choreo since his whole expression and skill set has gotten so much different in between old and new fan cam! He is so amazing.

Also, I will confess that sometimes I watch BTS dance practice videos 8 times in a row. First I watch the whole group, and then I rewind the whole practice to follow and focus on each individual member. It is amazing what you notice when you do that! We can be honest and say there is a reason why the dance line gets most of the dance visuals--it's not fair to compare Jin and J-Hope, you know? And I've noticed that the choreo is even different for the dance line vs non dance line often--the 4 doing all the hard flashy stuff in front (as it is their job to do) while the other 3 have simpler moves but are still essential to the overall choreo performance. They all know their strengths and weaknesses, and no one expects Jin to be a Jimin, but he can be an amazing Jin! I was just watching a reaction video where a dancer was shown several videos in a row, and she was so astute that she didn't know any of the members but she said "that guy--he has improved SO MUCH since that older video"--and yes, she was giving a shout out to the hard work of Jin. : )

This was a great video to watch, and I am glad you happened to watch it. Because I saw it from another KZfaqr and thought “whatchagot2say was looking for something exactly like this. I wonder if they reacted to it.’ and here it is, I’m very glad you did because it's a very nice video to watch if you want to see another skill besides singing from Jin, because he is amajin at everything. If you want another one like this, it's not as serious as this one, more of a playful tone but still shows his dancing there is ‘jin really said we don't need permission to dance’ - by ‘be my jinnie.’ #RealOnesKnow -oh also, love you all.
