It would be interesting to hear how a reproduction is made. I would imagine that the Henstooth USA people have the original or, possibly, a newly made machine that punches the notes out. I have always wondered how the music is transposed and then, marked onto the disk, before the tabs are punched out. The Stella and Mira discs are smooth without the curled piece of metal on the bottom side. I understand that there were a few other makers that featured the smooth discs, as well.
