They still march and kill. Every war is a tragedy and a crime against the humanity in my opinion. No matter what your beliefs or ideologies are, nothing justifies taking homes, health and lives of innocent children who inevitably suffer in every military conflict. @@sheldoncooper8199 My dear BBT friend, you're forgetting that the war actually started already in 2014, when russian invaded Crimean peninsula (Krim) and started a war in eastern Ukraina to "free" Donetsk and Luhansk regions, known collectively as Donbas. In February 24th 2022, a full-scale attack to take over all of Ukraine then began, and unfortunately, there is no end in sight to this horrible russian war crime... Slava Ukraina, indeed!

Probably have commented this before but my favorite lyrical part is "is it a mermaid singing? no, it's a siren screaming!". So cool to make a distinction between a mermaid and a siren when they're both used as a synonym but then the word siren means something else.

Jinjer totally changed my way of listening to music. Normally it's like my favorite songs or a full album. With Jinjer, i listen to each and every track dozens of time to fully hear and understand what's going on and even after hearing a song dozens of times i still find more details, more insane drum, guitar or bass work and Tati is not from this world. I'm so sad that it took me sooo long to find this band (i'm 54 btw).

Jinjer is from the area of eastern Ukraine that has been suffering from the war since 2014. Horlivka, an industrial city of Donetsk region, is getting devastated from people, factories and schools due to war. Horlivka used to have a respectful institute of foreign languages and was also considered as a students' city. Many Ukrainian rock bands were originating from there. If you ask Jinjer where they are coming from, they will tell you they from Donbas, but now they live in Kiev. That war has taken and broken many people's lives and fates. I am from Donetsk region too. I saw what was happening in 2014 with my own eyes and I believe they did too. What was happening is people looking for a shelter after another mortar attack of 120 millimeter callibre mine. In Zugres it was 21 people at once, most children; dead; after bombing, at the river coast so called by locals as Kids ' Beach. I believe it was a mortar fire attack. And I know who did this... But I'm here not for politics. I'm here to praise their talent. Jinjer are TRUE.

I actually never read lyrics so sometimes they go over my head and blend with the music, which is kinda what I like. But this video really did bring out the lyrical content, and wow I'm amazed. What a great song and video.

War is hell. My heart's and prayers go to everyone who is suffering. Your pain and lose are felt like a sting to my heart. I have not heard from my fiance since Wednesday when I got texted they are bombing my City ( Odessa) . Home back definitely hits different now. Stay safe out there.

I love this mix of violently harsh vocals and softness. It charms you into submission before gouging your eyes open again. I have loved this band since they first broke onto the musical scene. So much raw power, like a tea kettle exploding.

Holy Fuck. The deeper I get into the Jinjer hole the more incredible they become. Their musicianship is impressive and always on point and Tats voice, seamless transition and epic delivery never cease to amaze me. Come to Canada! You guys are amazing and hope you and your families are staying safe with what is going on in Ukraine. Hoping it comes to an end soon, its devastating.

Came here after watching Elizabeth of The Charismatic Voice break down this video and wow. Your musicianship, everyone in the band, is just wonderful. Showing some great meal here, but then you've got that jazzy part in the middle and you just blow it away. Excellent work. It sounded like from comments I saw that you're safe right now, but I know this is a really tough time for you and all your loved ones. A shame that a song like this had to become such a reality for you.
