@@13christbane singing live in concert is a lot different than in a studio. Not that she can't do it but the fact it doesn't sound appealing in person. Lots of bands change their singing performance live vs studio. But to each their own.

"Even I skip these (high parts) live, I'm scared I'll fuck it up." She says with zero sense of self depreciation as a singer. That's huge. She gets it. No need to prove herself every inch of the way. We are not machines as humans, having limitations is okay.

yeah even though she's plainly very tired in this, she's enjoying it the most she can and giving it energy she probably doesn't have. but you can still tell everything she's saying is her real opinion, she's just tired.

It’s a culture thing. She probably meant in a happy way but in English saying that is like an insult, and it’s not her native language.

In most Slavic languages (mine included Serbian) "making me laugh" basically would have similar meaning like "making me happy" so she did not meant insulting. Problem is English folks see when you tell them that "you make me laugh" like partially an insult.

@@13christbane she skip that part because she's a metal singer, and even if that note is on her range (and it is on her range), she can screw that note by singing out of tune, she doesn't want to risk the whole song for just one note, and remember she's not a trained singer, even if her range is huge, if she's not trained she can't access so easy to some of the notes on her range, it's a lot different for singers like Floor Jansen or Adele, because they are well trained singers and they know how to use their vocal chords even in high notes. Tatiana is crazy good for a not trained singer, and her range is crazy too, even if she's not prepared to use her whole range all the time.

@@13christbane it's EXTREMELY common for singers, even those with immense range, to go lower live for various reasons. Plus she sings in more than one vocal style and that alternating is tricky, despite how effortless she makes it look. There's plenty of live Jinjer vocals on here to back up her insane talents.

My friend turned me on to Jinjer early last year and it's been crazy seeing how big they've gotten. They have a certain appeal that goes beyond the usual metal crowd.

I just love that shirt. I love how musicians are always critical of their own music & talents that they can hear other's faults & then praise them when they hit the notes in their singing. Its fun to see that.

Zé do Roque I mean, I always assumed that was why. My old band’s singer had a few parts he would sing differently love for the same reason. It’s cool that Tati is open and honest enough to say “I’m afraid I will fuck up” lol
