You need to learn basic physics, you can’t put tower in every 100 story building and expect it to work for every room. Either you have to have your own dedicated towers, many flats don’t have infra to support, Wi-Fi calling helps there. With high speed internet it actually works much much better than normal tower call.

@@shefalisahapaul3671 it's not for each customer. This is for specific group of people who lives in a High tall buildings, most of where you don't get cell coverage. It's not there to give connection to rural area or mountains etc. Most of these buildings have wifi, people who buy these definitely can afford cheap plans.

If you have issues with network in village Wi-Fi calling is not the solution. You need to have wired connection first, in village you may get normal bsnl Adsnl, it doesn’t work with thisThis, high-story buildings and homes which have wired fiber can take the benefits.

You can't buy a electric guitar and complain about how you can't use it without electricity and give a justification that you don't have the money for an electric connection. Wifi calling technology created for tall urban buildings. if you are in a place where you don't get the normal signal I don't think you will have the broadband option but if you have the money for buy or rent a building which goes above cell other limit then you definitely have some cash for cheap broadband

@@Biranchi1998 if you want good network in your phone you need ask company to instal tower, barking about why wifi calling dosent cover villages are not the answer, it same goes for why ATM dosent serve food or why you cant take laton in your purse. if you knew anything about basic technology you would't be barking here like a bafoon, wifi calling is a technology which enables you to connect to phone network with your wifi infra, its not going to help you if you don't have wifi, it's simple. this is enabled for the specific problem, most middle class who resides inside a big apartment usaly face network drop, so they can use their already installed wifi to overcome this. this is not a solution for anything else simple, you can't expect paracetamol to cure your cancer similar way you can't bark about why network issue not solved via wifi calling, moreover i doubt that you have device which can utilize this in first place. first understand what's the technology then you can bark, rich or poor if you have infra then only technology works, you can't ask about why 4g not working in your old flip phone, it's just technology. if you want good network either you contact jio or change provider, wifi calling is nothing do about that. for your problem there is no solution other than increasing towers. it's simple there are some villages in US where you can get physical fiber but there is no towers, people using wifi for other needs so those got help with their call drop issue too, i doubt in india we have similar sitation due to high initial cost.
