CORRECTION: Chinese Supplying Sensors to Indian Navy, Mate they are adversaries for us, how can they help with sensors?, It's like saying Iran provides radar equipment to Israel.

These ships look outstanding. India is making big advances in capability in many areas. The fact that this is mostly indigenous is all you need to know about how serious they are about their future.

India is being hemmed in by CCP China by their Belt & Road initiative. CCP China has influenced countries very close to India like Sri Lanka & the Maldives. India realizes they need an up to date navy to help deal with an anticipated future conflict with CCP China. Frankly, they are doing a better job with this than the US Navy, which needs to be fixed.

I highly doubt that the Chinese are helping the Indian Navy in any respect; they are the peer oppositional power in the region. Pakistan and China cooperate, both to counterveil Indian power.

1) All of the 32 Barak-8s in the ship have a range of 100 Km. You are confusing Barak-1 with Barak-8.

- India and China are arch rivals, India is fast tracking it's defence procurements just to arm itself against china, no way china is helping India in anything and Indians dont want it too.

From an overall socio-economic perspective, India is quickly evolving into a very powerful and prosperous nation. It's reached some economic takeoff point where factors of production all start combining into a spiral of rapid advancement and accelerating direct foreign investment.
