I managed to get my hands on the normal banner Broadsword, isn't as good i suppose as his signature weapon but its the 2nd best, yeh? I should invest into it , right?

Is resonance Liberation dmg substad useless on him? Bc even if it is considered heavy atk dmg why shouldnt the liberation dmg boost it to? Bc all in all we are in his liberation state. Can someone explain it pls ^^

I rerolled for Jiyun , soo I didnt even get mortefi. I built sanhua and they seem to work great together. Not ideal of course because she gives basic attack, but the rotations with her are soo smooth, it still works. I kinda wanted to go back in on banner just to get mortefi, but I figured I would get a copy eventually anyway.

I was thinking about going for 2 4 cost echos and 3 1 cost, cause like now that I read some stuff I think having 2 3 cost (aero dmg bonus) echos will overcap on aero dmg bonus (IF YOU HAVE VERINA), cause you know... Balancing out stats and all Edit: plus if you have his weapon thats an extra 12% aero (or basically all elements)

I got Jiyan, now idk whether I should try to pull Mortefi or go for the signature weapon banner instead. My team rn is Jiyan, Sanhua (sometimes i switch to Yangyang) and Verina, and the best I have for Jiyan is a R1 Helios Cleaver. Should I try for Mortefi or go for the sig weapon?

I got Jiyan and his signature in 1 10 pull on each banner, a little while later I was counting weapon banner pity, saw it was 24, got mad, did a single pull to bring it to 25, and got a second copy of his weapon and now it's r2

I've been playing Jiyan for a while now and trust me when i tell u that u need at least 150 ER on him to burst consistently on every rotation. Also his basic and skill are important too so dont neglect them. If you want the most damage make sure they are leveled up as well

Nah , 125+ is quite enough I think if you use swap cancel technique. Try to swap to him every 6s for e. Before mort gets his outtro, swap to jinyan for his e and echo. I have tested for 2/3 rotations you can get his ulti ready after intro. The last one only requires a few hits. So 130 is perfect. Of course with more eg you don’t have to do swap cancel every 6s and can focus on something else

Can someone explain it to me. With sanhua we can use basic but with mortefi we should be using heavy attack, right? But he said to spam basic attack after ult and skill.

Jiyan's basic attacks after ult are considered as heavy attacks, that's why Mortefi is his best partner.

Why not level up his basic attack? Since if you level up basic attack it also increases the heavy attack damage so you get more ULT damage.

The basic attacks we do after using his Resonance liberation has separate multipliers tied to his Resonance liberation. Which means its damage will increase as you level his Resonance liberation. Outside of his Resonance liberation, we almost never use his basic attacks unless in the outer world.

Jiyan doesn't deal any liberation damage, all of his attacks in his ultimate are considered as heavy attack damage. So aim for heavy attack damage rolls from substats.

@@frozenspace8793 we prioritise the liberation because it has a separate multipliers tied to it. You can think of it like Cyno's elemental burst. It has different multipliers tied to it and his attacks are considered as normal attack damage. Similarly, Jiyan has separate multipliers on his liberation and his damage in his liberation state is considered as heavy attack damage. So he benefits from buffs related to heavy attacks like Mortefi's outro.

I replaced my first team of Encore/Sanhua/Verina with Jiyan/Mortefi/Verina and the gameplay just became much easier. Don't get me wrong, Encore is really strong, but she is quite vulnerable during her ult as she gains no immunity to CC or anti-interruption compared to Jiyan's. I can parry and dodge better (I think I just had an easy time doing it compared to range units). Plus, Jiyan runs fast as hell and using the super jump technique on him is insane.

Watching this vid makes me feel like super lucky in echo farming, got a Beringal with like 2 crit substats, aero and dmg, then on 2 cost echo got two with aero/dmg, just missing his two atk cost 1 echo and ngl, world bosses ain't lasting 1 min in my jiyan rn🥶

i just hope they change jiyan's resonance liberation uneccesary step back, he is a melee character but he step back so far when he uses his ult like hes about to use a rocket launcher, it really waste a chunk of second of his burst mode and his resonance skill as a gap closer is just a waste a lot of times because the animation is not far enough to hit the target and the worst part is after ulti animation you hit the dodge to forward but did backward instead making jiyan more farther to the target ruining everything and this happen alot to me playing on mobile im not sure if thats also the case on pc i havent tried yet

Yeah 5 piece aero set is the best. But if you don't have good echoes from that set, you can use 5 piece Lingering tunes set. But if you don't have good echoes from this set as well, you can use 2 piece aero and 2 piece Lingering tunes set. These sets are good because :- Aero set - Jiyan's damage is aero and this set buffs aero damage. Lingering tunes - Jiyan's damage scales on attack and this set buffs attack.

No, intro skill is casted when you switch into a character while your previous character's concerto energy bar is filled. Concerto Energy bar is the circular bar situated in the left of your HP bar. So for example, if you fill Verina's concerto energy bar and switch into Jiyan, Jiyan will do his intro skill. (You will get an audio cue when the concerto bar is filled and the character portraits on the right side of the screen will have a white ring glowing around them)

Is this somehow calculated the between Areo+Areo / ATK+ATK only 3% difference?. If so the damn me i could have a decant echos long time ago , i dont care about 3%. Im too casual for that.

Aero + Aero / Aero + Attack have around 3-4% difference. Attack + Attack is much worse but viable if you have no other option

@@12thHarbinger I just got the monkey 4 cost with base crit and then it rolled crit rate/crit dmg/heavy attack/attack%. I needed a new pair of pants after that. Still can get 1 more stat because I fused my old one into it that had nothing good on it and ran out of mats.
