According to legend, Glastonbury was the ancient Isle of Avalon, the final resting place of the legendary King Arthur and even visited by a young Jesus. Now, it is a Mecca for people seeking the healing powers of its waters and an escape from the modern day.
This is an incredible place that everyone should experience for themselves, from hiking Glastonbury Tor and visiting Glastonbury Abbey to experiencing the healing powers of the Chalice Well and discovering the Glastonbury Mural Trail this really is a town like no other!

Loved your video on Glastonbury the Abbey looks amazing!! It wasn't that long ago that i found out the "Tor" is actually the hill you walk up rather than the building at the summit 🙄 now going to watch your video on Rye 😊👍

Another place I've always wanted to visit but never got around to. The smell of special herbal ingredients is everywhere just lately and it makes me feel nauseous, so The Tor and The Abbey might provide some respite. I hope you got your coffee, though. Nice video. I'm off the check out your Tintagel video now. Your pronunciation skit reminded me of my dad. He was a VERY Yorkshireman. Had a very strong accent and an extremely dry sense of humour. We once received a postcard from my auntie and uncle who were on holiday in Wales. The picture shown an abbey ruin and it simply said on the front, "Tintern Abbey". My dad looked at it and said, indignantly, "Tis"

It’s definitely a unique place to visit. You really have to experience it for yourself. We are still trying to decide which pronunciation is right 😂

Just got back from my first trip to the UK (we are from the US). your videos were super helpful. We did stop in Glastonbury on our way from Bristol to Dartmoor. We got a parking ticket in front of the green man and were very confused by parking and how to get to the Tor. We just had lunch at the Blue Note (very good and super friendly) and headed out. We also went to Tintagel and it was amazing.

You'd be disappointed if you expected to see crowds in Glastonbury at festival time - it all happens at Pilton, 6 miles up the road. Glastonbury town usually a lot quieter during the festival.
