There are a lot of people out there that don’t have an eye for subtlety. They need the flash and the umph. Jjjjound strips all of that back but still features design elements that fans of the brands they collab with can appreciate. The people who wear mostly Jordan’s aren’t the same people who appreciate Jjjjound.

This is couldn’t be more true. This brand is the embodiment of subtleties. And understandably, to a lot of people, those subtleties appear pretentious, boring, and low effort. When in reality it’s the exact opposite. There’s niche market for this brand, but they appeal to it very well.

In a world where flashy Nikes dominate there’s bound to be a ton of people looking to go against the grain together to the point where very simple shoes seem very attractive to them. They’re a decent shoe, but you wouldn’t get them if they weren’t Jound. The key is to find a middle ground imo but if you truly like them and you can get them for retail go for it

It’s a lifestyle brand bro. Simple as. No need for mental gymnastic here to explain the message. As a first time viewer, your definition of “boring” reads to me like “JJJJound’s approach to minimalism is not my preferred version of minimalism”. Fair opinion, but far from objectively boring.

These are boring like the general purpose shoe is boring. And that’s okay. Boring as I’m not eye catching or appealing significantly appealing outside of the niche audience. While I like the GPS better, I like the ASICS too. But at least the Sach’s are self aware. Its the resell prices that get me for JJJJOUND collabs. I like the shoes I just don’t get paying that much for them. Especially when there are comparable executions readily available and maybe even in better materials
